ReplyDeleteI can't throw any shade at actors who do movies by authors who have questionable (or deplorable) politics or beliefs. Some people may not like the beliefs held by Orwell but he was a talented writer. Now if you make a propaganda movie that's another story.
And FTR I hate homophobia as well.
+1 I read some of the Enders books because my son for really into them last year. Thought the first was great, the second pretty good, and couldn't get through more than a chapter of the third. But I'm still taking my kids to see the movie, because they like to see the adaptations.

ReplyDelete@ auntliddy - I can tell u that Wendy is real woman. I am good friends with her 1st (now ex) hubby. He verified for me she is all woman and I have a pic of Wendy pre-surgery. She was pretty but fucked up her nose with the drugs.
