Blind Item #10
This A list mostly movie actress is insisting that the HFPA give her a Golden Globe this year even though she doesn't have a movie that could ever hope to be nominated. Apparently she has slept with a few of them over the past year which is not something she ever enjoys and expects a little something in return. I don't know if she will get an award but if you see a crazy nomination that doesn't belong, then you will have your answer.

ReplyDeleteWhenever Tom Cruise comes up people say "all movie!" But they forget about his guest appearance on the Ben Stiller Show in one of Ben's "Tom Cruise's Stunt Double" skits. They did a longer version of it for the MTV Movie Awards one year as well. It was pretty funny. The double takes the acting more seriously than Tom. Ben did a very good Tom impression.

ReplyDeleteWatts has been nominated for different awards a lot. She was nominated for an Oscar last year I believe. She is a great actress. I can't the need for her need to sleep with people in the past for each nomination she has had.
ReplyDeleteGrace of Monaco is being released in March. The Golden Globes will be in January . It definitely wouldn't be eligible for any nomination.

ReplyDeleteLOL at people saying Kidman and Watts. How would their nominations be seen as crazy and out of place at an award show? They're both welcome presences. Watts is so embarrassed of Diana she probably wouldn't dare try to get nominated for it. Kidman's Grace of Monaco won't be eligible at the Globes.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking either Paltrow (Thanks for Sharing), Witherspoon (Mud), or Pfeiffer (Mud). None of them have been in the award conversation for quite some time now and none of their current movies have a great chance of getting nominated.
I meant The Family for Pfeiffer!
