I took out a turkey to thaw at some point during the night last night. I have no idea why or what I was thinking.

Turkey enchiladas! (Satisfies your craving for turkey AND Mexican food!) ;)
I put on my bikini last night and did cartwheels through the Target parking lot while chewing Hubba Bubba and singing 'Brand New Key'. I also have no idea why.
Mourning Thanksgiving already?
I'm thinking about making a sourdough starter. Not sure why or when but I'm thinking about it. Life is full of these exciting thoughts.
Ever sit back with a nice cup of coffee or Chai Tea (Oh my God, so good...), do the "It's a Wonderful Life" thing and wonder how the world would change if you weren't in it and then realize absolutely NOTHING would change at all?
Just me, then.
@ethorne I know why!
These off topic threads suck ass.
@VIP - is that C-Bone?
Umm I guess it's not winter where you live.... ;)
Rowdy, that's not cool. Chai tea sucks. Jk, hipe everything is better than it sounds right thur.
I want desparately to make chocolate rugelach. I'm not sure why. Anyone ever have any luck with that?
Hey, Violet! I am actually making one of those right now! I didn't even know you could do it yourself, but I found a recipe in the best bread book ever
Pics @ethorne or we don't believe you.
I made paella because I picked up some ridiculously scrumptious scallops and tiger prawns. Look at us, modern men.
@ethorne. I also put on your bikini last night. I just had not planned to reveal that to you in this manner.
Ambien.
@VIP-Yeessss!!!
@FSP-That's Lucas' girl.
@Prada-Freezing rain makes me feel alive!
@JBE- Sadly I'm not yet good enough to take a selfie while cartwheeling in delight.
@Craig-Dammit! I told you only to borrow the monokini!
@Lulu G, try the Cook's Illustrated recipe. CI/America's Test Kitchen basically taught me how to cook in a no-fail way. I haven't tried this recipe, but might for a Dirty Santa party this weekend.
Hey, pollywoggo, I have a subscription to Cook's Ilustrated, I will check it oot. The only thing I don't like about CI is that the add baking soda to mush up most meats. Almost every recipe, it seems. I like to read the magazines like novels.
@Pollywoggoo, Thanks, that looks good. I was thinking more of something without fruit but cherry and chocolate is always a winner. I like CI/America's test kitchen and their magazine is awesome as well as their shows on PBS.
@ethorne - I do love me some Lena. But Kat Dennings is my fav lately.
@TTM - careful, I hear stuffin is how babies are made ;)
@Violet, @TalksTooMuch - best bread book we have found is called Flour Water Salt Yeast. Totally changed up how we made bread at home. But now our bread is not only delicious hot out of the oven but after too. Highly recommend it.

That's just a rumour, Lucas! It's really the porkin
The best bread book I have ever read is called The Tassajara Bread Book, it was written by an amazing hippie in the 70s. I will check out your book, can never get enough cookbooks!
Rowdy, answer please!
Ive had great luck EATING it, lol
Is that the title of the book?
@SueRH Ambien is a hell of a drug.
