Blind Item #3
This A list mostly movie actress is making a lot of money from her new collection but don't expect her to wear anything from the collection unless it is an official contractually obligated event because she thinks the collection looks cheap and has a tough time talking about the collection with a straight face. She isn't that great of an actress.

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't consider Eva Mendes A list either really but her clothing line is in NY & Co and their clothes typically look cheap. Even I won't wear crap from there!

ReplyDeleteIn all fairness to Mendes, NY&Co clothes are, largely, pretty cheaply made and should only be purchased if you can't afford better. Style-wise, they're okay, but in my experience, the workmanship and durability is terrible.
ReplyDeleteI had my nails done once next to her in a gift lounge once. A label was trying to get us to take some organic clothing. We both looked at each other and made a face. She's used to luxury. Her name is the brand. And if Enty is calling her an A, it's barely. Her people get her name out there where they can. That's why I think it's her.

ReplyDeleteAgree. The only reason she talked to me was because she thought I must be somebody to get into the gift lounge. Didn't have the heart to burst the illusion that I knew people who knew people!
DeleteI thought it was funny when Alyssa Milano released that photo of Eva seeking Alyssa's autograph when they were mid-teens (approx.) - I bet Eva hated that! LOL!

ReplyDeleteI really like NY&Co's pants. That trouser style is really hard to find in fabrics that don't fade and aren't 70's polyester. Fabric is a little bit thin, though. Express sometimes has them, but not quite as reliably as NYC.

1: e-mail. I'm bad about cleaning out my inbox, and there's 1554 in there, just from them!
2: Being asked ten times, "Would you like a subscription to Barfbag Monthly? Would you like to apply for our credit card? Do you like beans? Do you enjoy movies starring George Wendt?" NO! Stop forcing your employees to badger me!
Brenda - LOL at the idea of a Kristin Stewart collection. How bad would it be for her to think it looks cheap? Something fished out of the swimming pool on "My Name Is Earl?" She probably believes the theme song to "Convoy" is classical music.
