Blind Item #4

This A list Academy Award winner/nominee actress says she won't do any press with this younger A list mostly movie actress for their new movie because the older actress says the younger one got all the attention on set and everyone was fawning all over her and the younger one treated the older actress like crap and would constantly mention their age difference.

  5. Press is usually for a movie before it comes out isn't it?

    ReplyDelete
  6. They also do press when they're campaigning for Oscars.

I'll go with Meryl and Julia.

  7. Meryl and Julia are everywhere campaigning together.

  8. I would have thought Meryl was A+ and Julia wasn't a "mostly" movie actress. Isn't she all movies except for that one episode of Friends?

    1. She was on Law and Order once too. Still, I think you're right. I just hate her though!

  10. I thought Amy and Jen, but then remembered Jen isn't an asshole like that.

  12. Even though it doesn't say both are winners/nominees ill say Halle Berry and JenLaw for when the time comes to do stuff for XMen Days of Future Past.

  13. Amy and Jen Law for sure. We all love Jen Law, but it's just like her to broadcast embarrassing shit like that.

  14. American Hustle has already had their press tour.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Julia also did Law and Order.

  16. Kate Winslet and Shailene Woodley. Woodley strikes me as such a little snot...

  18. amy adams/ j-law?

  19. I could really see Julia Roberts as the "younger" star, but Meryl Streep is more professional than that. At least I hope so.

  20. Is this a repeat BI? Sounds familiar.

    1. Yes , its about a year old and the " answer" was Hayden Pannetier? And that woman from the first American Horror Story

  21. Only the older one is winner/nominee so it cant be streep - roberts or adams-jlaw

    ReplyDelete
  22. I find it hard to believe that people on a set would be fawning over Roberts and ignore Streep.

    1. Yes. Men don't fawn over middle aged horsey mouthed annoying been passed around too much jerks like Julia.

  23. I would love it if this were Mark Wahlberg and Taylor Kitcsh and Enty was just being a bitch with the pronouns.

  24. Whoever it is ragging on older actress-you gonna be there someday sweetie. What goes around comes around.

  25. yeah I was thinking J Law and Amy Adams….only cause I just saw that movie and LOVED it.

  26. This sounds like goop and scarjo from a few years back.

  27. Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence? I don't recall them doing a lot of press together for American Hustle. Haven't really seen photos of them together either. Lawrence is the hottest thing in Hollywood right now so it would make sense if everyone fawned over her.

Shailene Woodley and Kate Winslet are a possibility, but I can't see people giving all the attention to Shailene when you have Kate Winslet on your set. Judging from interviews from the cast members, it sounded like everyone was in awe of Kate. Plus treating people like crap doesn't sound like Shailene. That's not to say Jennifer is rude but Jennifer is a lot more outspoken and if the blind does involve her, she probably didn't intend to be mean or anything. Amy Adams comes across as very, very sensitive and she could've taken things the wrong way. I watched this year's Oscar roundtable for the actresses; Emma Thompson was making a comment and just randomly looked at Adams, and Adams took it personally thinking Emma was referring specifically to her. It was weird.

  28. Charlize and Amanda Seyfried.
DM has an article about their new movie together.

  29. After Kate Winslet's comeback article about her baby's name (she basically said F you, vag-judging haters) and the fact that she's the mom of three - one almost a teenager - I wouldn't think she'd put up with that kind of crap.

I'm the Streep-Roberts train. Their body language in any photo of them speaks many other languages.

  30. not Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence: the promotion for AMERICAN HUSTLE is finished and they did some promotions together

not Meryl and julia because they campaign together even if i don't think they're friends

  31. Julia and Meryl have been everywhere together. It's not them.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I can't imagine anyone treating Meryl likecrap. Whose in Am Hustle with Jennifer Lawrence? I'm going that direction, she's hot stuff right now

    ReplyDelete
  33. Meryl has waaaay more class than this. No way it's her. And if anyone would be ranked A+ I think it would be the person that holds the most oscar noms in history.

  36. I'm going with Halle Berry and Jennifer Lawrence....New X-Men movie

    ReplyDelete
  37. I was thinking Meryl and Abigail but I saw in an interview that Abigail was in awe of Meryl.

  38. Not Jennifer Lawrence. Lawrence is herself an Oscar winner, the incumbent actually, so it would surprise no one that she would get much attention on the set, compared to someone who was also a winner or just a nominee.

I don't see Amy Adams being the older actress. Adams is a well-respected actress, she's not aging, and she is part of a big franchise (the Superman reboot). And if I was working on set and had Amy Adams in her American Hustle clothes in front of me, I would definitely fawn over her even if Lawrence is in the vicinity...

It must be an actress in her fifties (so very few horny crew members would think of her sexually) who made a movie with one of the 20-something current it girls of Hollywood.

As some people here have noticed, the film will also be released in a few weeks or months, as they still haven't done press.
It's most likely a film that premieres at Sundance. There's almost nothing in the competition that matches the BI (Kristen Stewart and AnnE Hathaway are the two biggest stars but their movies don't fit as Mary Steenburgen isn't A-list).

    However, in the premiere section...
Laggies, starring Keira Knightley (nominated) and Chloƫ Grace Moretz
    Rudderless (Felicity Huffman, Selena Gomez)
White Bird in a Blizzard (Shailene Woodley, Gabourey Sidibe... just kidding)

  39. FInally someone agrees with me xD Thanks Topper haha!

  40. I'm sticking with my Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning guess for the upcoming Maleficent. Elle has all sorts of breakout awards, especially after Super 8, and is a fashion It Girl about half Jolie's age. I will be shocked, in any case, if Jolie does any press with the gal who plays Sleeping Beauty.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Jolie and Vivienne. LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  42. No one is going to fawn over Elle Fanning when Angie is around.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Meryl and Julia are both A+. Name anyone higher, I dare ya.

    ReplyDelete
  44. The people who fit best : Kiera and Chloe. But I feel like this blind is so familiar and basically describes a cliche conflict in Hollywood.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Hmm, the 2nd "A+-list" is now just "A-list."

Can't be Hustle IF the film hasn't come out yet.

    ReplyDelete
  46. theron /seyfreid both f.cked askars.. seyfried bragged about it in instyle. askars dumped charlize twice. I'm sure charlize doesn't want to see askars f.ck buddy around

    ReplyDelete
  47. Nobody would actually fawn over Jolie, they would stand by in stunned silence gazing at that beautiful timeless face attached to that bone sharp skinny body and wonder how she manages to carry those large breasts on that teeny tiny frame.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I feel like this is a pretty unlikely guess, but does fit well with the clues in the blind:
Jennifer Connelly as the A list Oscar winner (Best supporting 2002, A Beautiful Mind)
and Emma Watson as the younger mostly movies actress (she has a "Made for T.V." film credit on her IMDB, Ballet Shoes, 2007)

They will both appear this spring in the epic: Noah

  49. @sugarbread: didnt even think of that reason, brilliant!
Wasnt Charlize also the actress that got mad no one paid attention to her when she was at a party? Most popular guess was Diaz I remember. Not sure if it was ever revealed.
Or I am confused with a Russel Brand blind, him ignoring CT because he was busy with other chicks.
    Can't remember. Ugh

    ReplyDelete
  50. @sh.t you can't buy..
ct can NEVER let it go when men dump her or don't pay attn. to her. when she filmed mmax w/ tom hardy and he wouldn't go near her her team put out stories of him being weird on set when ct was just trying to be nice and "welcoming" to him.. it's ALWAYS SOMEONE ELSE'S fault if they're not attracted to her..
she was also the bi reveal about the actress who keeps sending dead flowers to dire/prod when their shows get cancelled that she once f.cked to get a part..
she a cra cra b.. just better @ hiding it than halle b

  51. Julia could be considered "mostly movie" because she also does voiceovers for some Progressive insurance commercials.
