As I Lay Dying Singer Pleads Guilty To Solicitation Of Murder

The lead singer of Grammy-nominated metal band As I Lay Dying, Timothy Lambesis, pleaded guilty Tuesday to trying to hire someone to kill his estranged wife. For some reason even though he pleaded guilty he is still free on bond. Yes, it is a $2M bond, but once that guilty plea is entered they should have put him in jail. The sentencing is not until the first week of May. Do you think he will show up for it? Apparently it all stemmed from the fact that the Christian singer didn't want to give his wife or his adopted kids any money in a divorce so thought things would be better if she was killed.

  2. Oh, Christian Singer, no wonder - beyond the bad hair - why I've never heard of this story. Isn't killing your wife in the bible, okay somewhere? Read the book, don't understand.

    OT Alert

Never mind this - hello Americans - what the hells is going on in Arizona with the gays? Time to boycott all that is Arizona until their systemic hate on gays is over.
    WTF!

  5. Hi @Kimba. I dunno. IMO Arizona has a million other things to worry about besides gay people.

Lets just say, I moved out of the State back in '87 and even I feel the need to distance myself from AZ.

  18. I will NEVER understand how someone having a same sex relationship is ANYBODYS business but the couple involved. And why do these people care so much? It completely mystifies me.

  20. OMG Ain't that the truth Aunt. We certainly don't need the government to regulate who we love. See VA vs. Loving.

  23. I always wonder how people come to the conclusion that it's better to MURDER their spouses than just divorce them and take the financial hit. Not everyone is Mr. Bates from Downton Abbey, you know.

The fact that this guy is a lip-service "Christian" just makes it more laughable, though. It's funny how the "best Christians" do the most appalling, hypocritical things in their lives.

  24. Is it wrong that until the moment I heard he is a "Christian singer", I thought he was kind of hot?
