This A list celebrity/singer (not Britney Spears) is right on the edge of a breakdown. She is taking medicating now and needs a break very badly but her record company and the rest of her people are telling her to push through it while giving her other things to help her cope. This is not going to turn out well. She is a mess and something bad will happen if they don't give her a break soon.

ReplyDeleteThe music industry is a monster with giant teeth and huge wheels. If you don't protect yourself it's gonna roll right over you, chew you up, spit you out, roll right over you again. Why do you think they put $ sign Ke$ha's name? You gotta be your own god or the pretend music gods will crush your creativity and turn your art into bullshit pandering to the masses.

ReplyDeleteNo one guessed her in the original blind. Quite possibly because it's sort of unlikely that anyone thinks she's A list. I realise I am out of her demographic but I couldn't tell you the name of any of her records (see I told you I was out of her demo - even I haven't bought a record since 1990).
ReplyDeleteI detest Dr. Luke so much, always have always will. He is the lamest of the lame. Hope it all turns out well for Kesha. Nobody deserves what she got, especially the way she was producing so well for that douche canoe.
ReplyDeleteAnd I hope that Dr. Luke's stranglehold on the Top 40 comes to a crashing end so we can maybe get to hear some decent music from new blood, not just a bunch of boring Britney castoffs. Karma is a bitch Dr. Luke.

Does she have a grueling schedule? Seems like Katy Perry has a harder work schedule. Nonetheless it's gotten to her and now she gets a break. Unless of course she's the one that got kicked out for having sex in the joint.

DeleteWhen I heard how successful her music is, I was shocked. All enty talked about was her drunk in a gutter, passed out. Or, being passed around at a party or rebuffed at the next party...it was all She fux for trax commentary

Tik Tok became the longest #1 charted single by a female artist since You Light Up My Life. Ke$ha has sold millions of singles and albums and toured pretty much all of 2013. It seems like Dr. Luke has raised her musical cred with collaborations with artists like Iggy Pop and the Flaming Lips but her fans have been complaining for some time about his control over her life.
