Back in the day there was a serial killer who claimed to have killed hundreds of men. He walked right into a police station and admitted it. After a really thorough investigation police discovered the man only killed a couple of people. When a 19 year old female says she has killed more than 22 people but less than 100 you wonder when she found the time and why no one noticed any of the people she supposedly killed had disappeared. Pennsylvania police have been investigating the claims of Miranda Barbour since she was accused of stabbing a man twenty times leading to his death. So far, police have not found any proof she actually killed any of those men she says she killed. They have passed the information to the FBI and Barbour has given them very specific locations of where the deaths and bodies are but so far nothing has been found. I think she is probably very ill and I would be shocked if she actually killed any other people than the one she is charged with killing.
This chick is stating that she hails from my small town and started her "kills" here, the only problem is that she hasn't lived here since she was 7. I think she's lying about 99% and most possibly her first kill was the one that got her caught. The rest is some storyline in her head.
ReplyDeleteCleo-happens all the time, people dissappearing. If they have no family, no one looks for them. The sheriff in alaska said, people disappear all the time, what the hell he means by that.
DeleteTrue, people do disappear as we are a big state but most are found once the snow melts. Spring means bodies, but most were inebriated or drug users, homeless, and those that left their cars to walk after they broke down.

DeleteIt would be quite easy for a young woman to get a man alone - eg hitchhiking, bars. She would have problems disposing of a body though - most women couldn't move a man, especially a dead one, without help.

Um, duh, public defenders are pretty much required to plead not guilty the first time around. She wants a mental illness defense because "I'm a sloppy, stupid sicko" won't result in a reduced sentence.

In the Fairbanks Craigslist "rants and raves" section (which, admittedly, is basically full of cranks, pranksters, haters, etc.) there have been comments about Alaskan Satanists for years now, long before this story broke. I don't put much stock in it (Satanic cults in Alaska) but it would sure be the right state to pick if one wanted to get away with, well, whatever...

ReplyDeleteOnly black serial killer I can think of is Wayne Williams. I can think of a few black mass murderers though, DC Sniper, guy on train in NYC w/ Samurai sword, maybe that LA McDonalds shooter in the 80s.
Women are more likely to kill close to home, hubby & children. Unless they are whores, killing and robbing tricks.
Of course she's lying, she just wants attention and every outlet that's throwing the title of a very popular show in their headlines (Dexter) is giving it to her. She's just a chunky wanna-be goth who'd be going to prison for killing some john with her husband if she'd just kept quiet. Move along, nothing to see here.
