That engagement ring this former tweener actress and now just A list celebrity is wearing is stolen. It belonged to a woman who was very rich and didn't have all her faculties.
This actually could be MK Olsen - DM says it was bought at a Sothebys auction and it came from a jewelry collector - it's 4 carats, unusual setting, it actually looks better up close
Sothebys insists on provenance for their auction items, so saying it's "stolen" is little hysterical. If it's from the collection of a wealthy person with dementia, at least the one who put it up for auction has power-of-attorney to do so, or it never would have made it to the auction block.
Sarkozy (the good one, the President) has been acused by his enemies of leeching Liliane Bethencourt (sp), who is one of the richest people in France and also said not to be in her faculties. I don't believe that, but the writer of this BI seems to do it.
I love that ring! It's so much nicer than the run of the mill same ol same ol rings. Different and original is always better, especially if it's Cartier.
Could well be Liliane Bettencourt's ring. She's supposed to have dementia and she"'s filthy rich. She's worth it, L'Oreal, it's her. Anyway, even if it's stolen and even if it's bad to steal, she has plenty more... with hidden bank accounts, plus quite dark connections during WW2 and all that. Spare your pity for her :-)

Olivier Sarkozy brother Nicolas (Former Prez) was indeed involved into that whole mess of leeching on Liliane Bettencourt.Allegedly placing his people around her,like the then budget minister's wife as her financial advisor. It is more than plausible since there is still part of his campaigns fundings unaccounted for.Bettencourt daughter was even questionning her mother's attorney loyalty since dude was into Sarkozy's network.So giving his brother whatever non cash donations he got from her isn't a stretch. ESCANDALO
Bettencourt's scandal is all about money given secretly to Sarkosy's political party to pay his campaign.It's not about jewels and Nicolas Sarkosy's brother is not involved
