Blind Item #6
There are not too many shows on NBC that do well. This one is a performer for the network and has an actress who is on this season after casting couching her way on to the show by bedding the star who has a significant other. She must have been really good or got some dirt because he threatened to walk from the show if she wasn't cast.

It couldn't possibly be the saintly Dax, although maybe being married to the tooth achingly sweet Kristin might be a little unbearable at times I suppose.
DeleteKristin---NO it is HORRIBLE. I would rather eat a spoonful of cinnamon than watch that show.

Delete@Kristin, I love Parenthood. Sometimes it pisses me off and they try to get you to cry about once an episode, but I keep going back for more. :)

ReplyDeleteMeagan Boone is just AWFUL. Her acting is so flat. Don't get me started on her hair, which always looks like a cheap wig.
ReplyDeleteI do love James Spader though. Red makes the show even if they do need to shake the formula before it gets stale.
This reads like the show has been on before this season. If so, that would rule out The Blacklist. What NBC shows have added a female this season? Can't be many that also perform well.

My hubs works on the show. It is a wig. And Spader is nice, but a bit weird. And he has been vocal on set about Megan Boone's inability to act.

One or two new women are on Person of Interest.
ReplyDeleteNot sure it is Boone. Her grandfather is the Developer of the nation's largest retirement community, The Villages in Florida. Her mother is director of sales at The Villages. Very wealthy family...

ReplyDeleteShes the first person I thought of! Love the show & keep my fingers crossed that Lizzie dies every episode. She is a black hole of acting and ruins every scene shes in... which is most of them! Ugh! So awful! James spaded is great.
