Blind Item #8- Academy Award Parties
This B- list mostly television actress is only that high because she is on a hit network show. As soon as the show ends she will drop like a stone on the list. She won't be getting invited back to this party next year after she treated the wait staff like crap and was rude to everyone who was not a celebrity she recognized. For someone who will be lucky to be working in acting in a couple of years she was the biggest a-hole anyone could remember at this party ever. One of the guys she treated like crap used to be a lover of the married host and is young and Latin and she assumed he was a waiter. The former lover of the permanent A lister went and complained to the A lister and that will be the end of her at the parties.

ReplyDeleteThis is so random. I am intrigued... and at 44, the roles available for her now (unfortunately) won't be so for much longer. Aside from her character om Scandal, is she rumored /known for her bitchy behavior?

ReplyDeleteSofia has been around over 20 years, but norteamericanos may only know her since Chasing Papi. Why the hate? Especially from women?
ReplyDeleteI love Sophia, she has bad taste in men and may have a lot of secrets but I haven't seen anything credible to make me not like her - she is a big part of the success of that show, please.

ReplyDeleteReally? This nothing actress was the BIGGEST a-hole any mega-celeb could ever remember? I kinda doubt it, since they all act like that.
ReplyDeleteIt also probably has to do with the Hollywood hierarchy... Some of them have been around long enough and know how to play the games/are allowed a little more leeway from their peers.
DeleteThis is reality star behavior, but since it's not one, then I'd guess a wannabe rich New York City Metropolitan Area native barking orders at wait staff per standard practice, and having a culture clash in LA, where it's rude to treat service people dismissively.
ReplyDeleteWomen dislike Vergara because her entire schtick is a caricature. After 20+ years in the US, her accent sounds too fake & she's got nothing to display but boobs & ass. She's like a prettier Charo but still a joke whose overdone act demeans Latinas.
