Happy first Friday of spring. It has been really nice outside here and of course I have a horrible cold so can't enjoy the weather at all. No worries. I'm an expert at self-medicating. A weekend of NyQuil and booze and binge watching television should make things better. Of course I will be here blogging all weekend too so hope you will stop by in between March Madness games. #1- Ben Affleck spent about five minutes in this movie but it didn't keep him from making a bet with this A list mostly movie actor that he could hook up with the only female lead in the movie in the two days he spent filming. The bet was Ben had to hook up during filming and not after. Ben managed to do it by the end of the first day.
#2 - Jamie Kennedy and this former A+ list mostly movie actress who is still an A list mostly movie actress and cringes if you ask her about their weekend fling.
#3 - Ryan Reynolds and this former A list mostly movie actress who was just hitting her peak at the time. Since then she has dropped to B list but still has A list name recognition.
#4- Catherine Zeta Jones and this former A+ list mostly comic movie actor who was just getting started on the television show that would make him famous and several others not named SNL. They met at a party and she says he lasted for what seemed like a week straight.
#4 has gotta be Jim Carrey! In Living Color?

ReplyDeleteThanks to Enty's disdain for proper punctuation, it's hard to tell, but I thought the "many others" referred to other actors who became famous from the show-not-named-SNL...in which case "In Living Color" could still work.

ReplyDeleteI saw an interview of her on Celebrity Ghost stories, Season 1 Episode 4, in which she talks a little about Boiler Room.
She stated that he stayed with her sick Grand Father during filming and was helping her grand mother take care of him. Her grand father meant a lot to her as she spent time with him during the summer when she was growing up.
In addition, during this period, according to the interview, she was engaged to be married.
This does not mean she isn't the actress in #1 but makes it less likely as she would have had to cheat on her fiance and have a quick rump knowing her grand father was at home dying. I don't think many actresses would have a quickie under those circumstances.

ReplyDeleteAfter looking at the IMDB page for "Make a Porn" I'm more convinced it wasn't Nia Long.
Nia Long got maybe 15min in Boiler Room and her and Ben would have had zero scenes together. The closes scenes they had together (movie time wise) was at the beginning during the first job interview.
Banks However, was the lead in Make a Porno and probably spent a lot more time on set and probably stayed on set thus making that contact more likely.
So I would say
#1 is Elizabeth Banks/Seth Rogen "Zack and Miri Make a Porno"
