You knew it was only a matter of time. You don't usually get arrested for domestic violence in a healthy relationship and Johnny Weir announced yesterday that he has split from his husband of two years. Johnny was in court a couple of weeks ago sitting in the lap of his husband who dropped all of the domestic violence charges and Johnny was set free. Now both of them are free to do whatever they like. Johnny announced the split yesterday but the pair broke up a day or two after the court hearing. It sounds like maybe it was either one last hurrah or that Johnny's husband was doing Johnny a solid before they split or that Johnny convinced his his husband they were all good and then stabbed him in the back after the charges were dropped.

I'm glad the charges got dropped, but go get some help boo. Violence is never the answer...errr, unless the question is what is never the answer! .
ReplyDeleteThat being said, he will always be gangsta as fuck for what you did with the Olympics. Johnny's been in CDaN a lot lately because of all that and I never shared this story yet. Johnny actually approached my friend and I at the WeHo Pride festival a few years ago (2011?) He just walked up to us, showered me with compliments and was just the sweetest thing I ever met. The funniest thing was, I had no idea it was even Johnny because I had been partying all weekend and let's just say he happened to blend in quite nicely at this event. It was only after he walked away that my friend was like, do you KNOW who that was?! Rock on, Johnny Boy. You do you, boo. Maybe it's best they move on- this relationship seems like it has turned unhealthy anyways.
He was my favorite part of Sochi Olympics. I love him. Marriage isn't for everyone.

I grew up in San Francisco, still live here, have lots of gay friends and some are quite out there and flamboyant but Johnny Weird gives me the creeps. There's something skin crawling about him. He can't disappear from my radar fast enough.
