This A- list entertainer(rapper) was a multiple Grammy nominee this year. He recently flew a woman to Europe for the sole purpose of hooking up with her. When she got there, he didn't like the way she looked so he left her stranded with no return ticket back to the US.

ReplyDeleteIt must have been one of those countries that don't have standard immigration rules. Even private jets have to provide proper documentation for international travelers - including a return ticket or itinerary. A lot of them use Timatic.

ReplyDeleteI think you can still get one way tickets, it just raises red flags which could detain you. Ironic that France is worried about US citizens overstaying their welcome. Good luck with all the uninvited guests from the EU thanks to the new rule changes.

ReplyDeleteYou can often fly into a country on a OW ticket but you will certainly get major hassle from immigration and need to prove that you have means to support yourself and the ability to buy a ticket back.

ReplyDeleteYeah I don't know about this. I was fleeing an abusive relationship and got a one way ticket to Manchester to stay with a friend for a bit. I had a connecting flight in Dublin. I had to go through a customs line still and as soon as they found out I did not have a return ticket, they sent me back home.
