ReplyDeleteAccording to some publications I just pulled up, people can choose to remain on methadone for the rest of their lives. Barring that, they can taper off over a period of from 2 - 10 years. For realz. Girlfriend became impatient with the tapering? Most people who d/c MMT relapse to heroin use.
