  1. I wonder how Don is going to end up? Washed up or finally complete.

    2. Although too quick - would have liked him to suffer a little more.

    3. Yeah, in the book it seemed he suffered more than on the show but GRRM wrote last night's episode, all in all, I'm glad he's gone.

    4. FINALLY! I've been waiting for Jeoffrey's wedding since season one!

  3. I mean that outfit Mrs. Draper rocked at the airport was BANANAS. Loved it! And the wheels.

    Pete Campbell steals every scene.

I was miffed that there was no Betty.

It was a good opener, I thought. I loathe the two-hour premieres. Too slow moving.

I can't wait to see what happens to Peggy and Joan. I love the wimins.

How about Roger with his hippie drug sexcapades?!? OMG. The filth. That's how I envision Lindsay Lohan's apartment to look like. LOL.

  5. I don't need no wheels, I don't need no gasoline.

  6. Where was Peggy Olsen's cat?

Can Weiner stop with the Sharon Tate/Megan Draper stuff already?

Bring me KIERNAN SHIPKA! She's the best actor on the show.

  7. Agreed on GOT. Wished he'd suffered more but the fact that it happened in front of everyone when he was acting like the sadistic tool he was helped a little.

Apparently the actor Jack Gleeson is quitting acting. Too bad because he'll probably have offers thrown his way albeit just the same type of character. He was so very good in the role.

    1. I think he's going back to college to become a professor. He is quite talented as an actor tho.

As evil as Joff was, Ramsay Snow is so much worse and he still lives.

    2. Might be a smart move- he could only play evil roles for a while.

    3. I had some professors who were rather Joffrey-like...

I really like him, though. I've heard he's a total sweetheart IRL. Peter Dinklage confirmed on his AMA Reddit that he didn't like the slapping scene because he really likes Jack Gleeson.

  8. Mrs. Draper rocked the show last night for sure-agreed on that outfit at the airport....almost didn't know it was her

I love that Don is playing Cyrano and nobody knows.....not even his wife

great opening.....can't wait to see how it will all resolve....

  9. Meghan had better start making some money soon. That house can't be cheap, and the car must have cost a mint.

This episode only took place 6 weeks after last season's finale, but the characters have moved to LA and settled in awfully quickly. Seemed off for that reason.

Weiner is messing with the fans, hinting at Megan as Sharon Tate. My bet is that in the end, Megan will have just left the house right before they were all murdered. Or if he wants to really fuck with us, he'll have Megan join Manson's cult and be involved in the murders from the other end.

What's with the new Creative Director caring so little about advertising? I don't know of anyone who would make it to the CD level without caring about advertising that little.

Poor Ken -- though his toss to Joanwas hilarious. They need to hire some new accounts people to help him out.

    2. 'Member when he was just an all around nice guy who wrote on the side? That Kenny would NEVER have treated Joan that way!

  10. Texas, Ken was shot in the face by the GM exec's (they went hunting and, well, there was a mishap.)

  12. So is Ramsay Snow related to Jon Snow or do they give all bastard children the surname Snow?

Don will never be complete or happy IMO.

  15. I don't watch anymore (I plan to catch up someday), but I saw a headline that said (POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT!!!) that Don Draper died in last night's episode. Is that true?

  18. Loved the Mad Men season opener, but I admit it was hard to concentrate after that Game of Thrones stunner. Wow!

I love this time of year when both shows are on!

  21. Thought it was ok. Glad there are only 6 more episodes this season, don't think I could sit through 12 more.

  22. I don't think Megan will be involved with the Manson murders in any way. Weiner loves Pare too much to kill her off or turn her into a bad girl.

  23. Freddy Rumsen - spot ON.

  24. I also woke up yesterday and had dinner. More news most people don't care about.
