Blind Item #10

This Qatar Airways flight attendant lost her job after this A- list mostly television actor who did make a movie about one of his characters told her he would talk to her bosses about her spending the night with him if she got in trouble. She did and was fired and the actor never returned her calls.

  10. Considering Qatar stones people for adultery I rather doubt that they would be open to arguments supporting casual sex by unmarried, to each other, people. I rather suspect that the stewardess hadn't really thought through his reassurance.

  11. Qatar Airways employs generally attractive and single stewardesses from a number of mainly European countries.

Their CEO, Abu Baker, is known for selecting girls to join him for "dinner".

They stay in nice condos but there's CCTV and security everywhere. They are not allowed to stay out with anyone, even an A- TV actor.

When a girl sees her schedule is blank, she runs to the ATM and takes all but a couple of Rials out, and waits to be summoned, dismissed, and deported.

A lot of the Middle East airlines are the same. If you ever bump into an ex Middle East stewardess, you won't believe the shit they go through.

  12. He is an absolute asshole for putting her in that kind of situation and she is an absolute fool for agreeing to it.

  13. I hope not, @Karen. :/

Why in the world would anyone care if a flight attendant met with a passenger if she wasn't on the clock? Oh wait, Qatar Airlines, aka flight attendant hell.

  16. Nah not Kiefer. He's too much of a gentleman. Besides, he never made a movie about Jack, it's a TV series.

  17. Made a movie about one of his characters? Who is that,,,someone who made a biography about a character he once played maybe,,,a real person,,,a comic book hero?

  18. Oh and he's mostly television?

  19. Oh. Mostly TV. X my Borat.

  20. SHHHHHEEEEEEEEN?

( but he kind of seems like he'd take her call or at least "give her a job" after getting her axed. He seems sweet to his whores...until they leave or he's in a bender.)

  21. So, basically, Enty just wrote a blind about an actor who didn't return calls to his one night stand?

Because you can't pin her firing on him.

Qatar is very conservative and no way is, "I spent the night with some guy I'm not married to but it's cool b/c he's _______!" ever gonna fly with her bosses. Even if the actor were to call. I mean, what is he going to say? "Please don't fire ____. Did I mention I'm famous?!"

They won't care. They can't care.

She is SOL and it's not his fault.

  22. Froggy..mostly TV actor who did make A FILM based on a TV character he played.......to success obvy.

So it's an actor with multiple TV shows that made a film outta 1 of the characters.
Only 2 viable guesses are Chris noth(law and order SAtC, the later being the reprised role..or
Kyle McLachlan...twin peaks, SATC, tally mcBeal..etc
Reprised role /film being being-twin peaks

  25. And she didn't get pregnant..the said he would get her the night off, or next day by speaking to her bosses..she no showed work, got fired...he doesn't return her calls

  26. Yep I think you are right and chris noth does seem a good guess. It could be.

On the flight attendant,,,where did she spend the night with him,,,,in first class? I can't work out how her employers would know if it was off duty time.? Was she supposed to be working? They might be tough employers but they ain't electronically tracking the staff....I think. Lol.

  27. David Duchovny? He reprised Fox Mulder in the The X-Files movies.

  28. @foggy..guessing they went to his hotel and she was meant to report back to work and fly out and he asked she spend the day tomorrow whatever...said he'd talk her boss's down if they had a problem..u know...cuz actors are veeeery important!!!

  29. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_films_based_on_television_programs

I thought maybe SNL too but most of the movies based on skits star people who are probably more known for film or don't have name recognition.

Sasha Baron Cohen is the most obvious answer but you'd think the fact that he's married with child would be scandalous enough to mention in the BI.

  30. SingBlue..That's pretty frightening job security.

Certainly this girl knew something would happen if she got caught.

  32. Nursyp...yep, for several reasons she's a dumbass.

Frankly, I prefer whores that are more astout serving my cocktails.

  33. Everyone should read the link about Qatar Airlines. It's pretty frightening how they treat their employees. One girl was fired for spending the night with a friend because she was afraid to tell them her friends name. Amnesty International should/ is coming after them.

  34. Chris Noth was a good guess. My first thought was a SNL actor but most of the A list actors end up making a lot of movies and wouldn't be mostly TV.

Is Qatar who John Travolta flies for? I've never read or heard anything specific about Qatar Airlines so thanks for the article link.

  35. I am disturbed that the Expressen article refers to grown women as girls while complaining how poorly they ate treated by Qatar Airlines.

  36. So basically we are looking at a woman, who met a famous bloke on a flight, had an immediate one night stand with him, did not front up for work the next morning and possibly missed her flight back and subsequent connections, leaving the crews a person down, and expected to get away with it because the dude she slept with was famous, I'd have fired her as well. Be a skank, fine, but front up for work the next day if people are relying on you. What did she think it was true love and he was seriously going to plead her case to her supervisors? Why the heck would it have changed anything even if he did? What was he supposed to say,,look, let her off, she was servicing me? Lol. What were they supposed to say,,,ah she was doing chris noth, that's ok then...double lol.
