Blind Item #2- Met Gala
Which B+ list talk show hostess (who's had success in more than one medium) turned down an invitation to the Met Gala saying that the guests would scatter like roaches if she ever stepped foot into the place, due to the dirt she's spilled on her show? She'd be pleasantly surprised that there are a quite a few people on the Met Gala guest list who are dying to whisper some gossip her way.

DeleteAlso, Ripa's never spilled dirt on anyone so the item doesn't fit. That's not at all the vibe/message of her morning show. I like gossip queen Wendy for this. It just really doesn't make sense that she wouldn't go. On night at the Met would be ratings GOLD for her.

DeleteWendy Williams, for sure. I love her! She claims on her show she prefers staying in then going out on the town, so I kinda believe this. Her radio show was amazing back in the day. For shits and giggles one recent night during a bout of insomnia, I listened to her interview with Whitney Houston on YouTube. Trainwreck/mindblowing. There was definitely no love lost.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Wendy is a fan of Kim Kardashian, but she has been quite vocal that Kim and Kanye look super les mis in all of their recent pap shots and whatnot. She said last week that she thinks Kim and Kanye should call off the wedding. So, I could totally see Kanye telling Anna Wintour to black ball her. This is purely speculation, but I watch Wendy a few times a week, and it makes sense in my brain.

ReplyDeleteWhy is it that keeping it "real" is thrown out there when people are being snarky, mean and catty? I used to love Wendy when she first started out. Her show was a bit of a train wreck, and it seemed like an inside joke that everybody was in on. I always thought it was hilarious when she pulled her hot topics notes out from under her wig. Now though, it seems like she's just being mean spirited for the sake of it, and I think it's because she can't get the big names on her show. Was it really necessary to call that one basketball wife's baby an ATM? If she wants to air out laundry she can start by talking about how she and her husband swap trannies
