The good news is this A-/B+ list mostly television actress and sometime host got her show picked up for the fall. The bad news is that her husband has been cheating on her with a woman in his office. Very long lunches over at her place.
Maybe they are just cooking something elaborate? I know I spend at least45 minutes making my risotto; between prep and actual cooking. That doesn't include steaming any veggies or making a salad.
Risotto is such an attention whore of a dish, eh Charlie? "Stir me! Stir me or my finicky grains of expensive Italian rice won't release their starch and leave you with a bowl of well seasoned gruel!!"
I think Melissa from $10 dollar dinners does it in a crockpot and swears its awesome. That's the only method im willing to try. I cant stir for 30 minutes.
Ladies, it's all about enjoying the process. Pour a nice glass of Cab Sav, put on some Miles Davis, and enjoy. Of course, my lack of depth perception negates my enjoyment of golf, tennis, etc so cooking is how I relax.
Risotto too? charlie? Color me impressed. Creme brûlée and risotto posts wow! It's a bitch to make so I don't. Kinda like pad Thai. No point even attempting to make the dish when you can get it better elsewhere for me anyway. My ADD takes over when it's too much hassle.

Poehler's out - she's separated and has a boyfriend, the hysterical Nick Kroll. Tina could be a possibility if her husband is working in a recording studio or now works at some kind of music business.
Crock Pot risotto is blasphemy. Charlie, I thoroughly enjoy the process as well--and if done correctly, the results are sublime. Cooking is my Xanax, so...
