I'm guessing the "rumours being more solid about him" is less about long term drug use and more about being closeted. Renner has only one kid, and as far as I am concerned, he has NEVER come out as straight, so him being gay is no shocker. Travolta has more than rumours against him - he has lawsuits. So no surprise there either. Tommyboy OTOH has the rumours, with absolutely ZERO to back it up, but it is pretty much presumed that Suri wasn't conceived in the biblical way, which would support said gay rumours.
OK. So, this is bullshit, because you don't do IVF when the guy can't achieve an erection with the baby mama. You do IUI (aka: the turkey baster method). Either somebody got the procedure wrong, or they are just full of shit.
Assuming the woman is of peak child-bearing age and has no fertility issues if their own. For IUI, the guy still has to have strong swimmers since they have to make it to the egg. Just sayin' that "healthy" sperm still needs help sometimes :)

Well really is pot smoking much different than cigarette smoking and cigarette smoking is known to lower sperm counts and more likely to have defective sperm and even impotence for those that are chain smokers.
Not that one would ever notice from daily observation.
