This former A+ list rock star who still plays but seems like a sideshow, barely made it to an event with his wife. The former rocker shooed two escorts out of a hotel room while he screamed at the front desk to have someone buy him a shirt in the next ten minutes that didn't have lipstick on it or his wife would think he had been cheating. Umm.
He has never exactly been faithful. He didn't get married that long ago.

ReplyDeleteI hate to be cynical, but if you marry a rock star, chances are fairly good that the first time you met, was the first time you fucked. So you should know exactly what you are getting into. Besides, why should wife #infinity care? She's set for life, especially if she pokes a hole in one of his condoms (that is if he even uses them). She should be using condoms though. Bah, I don't fell bad for her at all.

ReplyDeleteI refuse to agree, though, that he "still plays but seems like a sideshow." Gene is the brains behind KISS, he gives to charities, especially veterans, like there is no tomorrow, and he LOVES his fans. Plus, their shows are still great. If this is supposed to be him, I disagree strongly with the description.

The "sideshow" aspect makes me think of the nickelback guy who married Avril....

ReplyDeleteAs for Shannon Tweed..she knew a long time ago that Gene wasn't the marrying type. He told her that enough, and she chose to stay, and to have the kids with him. If she heard something different then she wasn't listening. He was really pushed into it by everyone else around him who also chose not to hear what he was saying.
Not a fan of Kiss (ironically or otherwise), but randomly linked through to an NPR interview of Gene, from Terry Gross. Gene was a complete ass to her - and by extension all women - rude, condescending, sexist.

ReplyDeleteThe only reason Gene got married was because A&E was paying for the whole thing, and for ratings. He's not monagamous, and never will be.
ReplyDeleteShannon just went the Jerry Hall route, deliberately having kids with a known philanderer in the hopes he will "nest" and change. It didn't work for either one of them.
