I have joked previously about how brain impaired this A list mostly movie actor is who is known for his good looks and one successful franchise. All his other movies bomb but he gets that tag of A as long as he keeps pumping out the franchise. Anyway, his actress wife has more creative ways than Walter White of explaining why she needs to do something and can't be home for a few hours. Does she just not want to get divorced? Is he that stupid to not know what's going on? How many different guys does she need to cheat with before he gets it? She was at it again this week while he just went through the motions of his day. Alone.

DeleteTrue, but apparently Aronofsky was quite 'busy' himself during their marriage. Busy enough to get Natalie Portman knocked up on the set of Black Swan that is. (The first time I saw pics of her little boy I audibly gasped. The resemblance to Darren is striking and COMPLETELY undeniable. I'm still not sure exactly how Millipied factored in to this whole mess-maybe she was sleeping with them both at the same time?-but in any case, he went ahead and married her so maybe he really is stupid/visually impaired enough to believe that that child is biologically his.) What a hot mess of immorality and selfishness all these actors and actresses are. So glad I don't have the displeasure of knowing any of them personally!

He is quite talented....watch some of his smaller movies..an indie with Rhys Ifans called..shite, I forget..and a quiet film where he seduces a mother and daughter...think "she loves him"is tittle..his work is intense, nuanced, and visceral..it takes a fertile mind to be that good an actor...intelligence is a prerequisite to be that....capable. Don't buy the moron thing one bit
ReplyDeleteWait, are you talking about Enduring Love? Where Craig's character witnesses a hot air ballon accident, he is a professor, and Rhys ifan's character becomes obsessed with him? That's a good movie and creepy performance by both actors.

7/ the marriage is already over, they just haven't told anyone.
8/ he thinks it's too soon to admit he made a mistake, but the writings on the wall.

ReplyDeleteI think some people are very good at one specific thing - they are highly intelligent in their field their passion their main focus but socially, this obsession does not translate to fun to significant others who either don't share the passion or have other interests they are equally passionate about and some people are just curious about everything and want to do different things and talk about different things all the time.

I can see her, after this marriage is done, falling genuinely in love with a younger guy and him either cheating on her or dumping her for a younger women, would serve her right.

ReplyDelete@sherry..I get the Meisner philosophy if "feel , emote, don't over analyze a character....but just isn't true for many actors to not internalize/intellectual ize their work...only through seeking, digging can one understand...and the best ones make it look like they haven't.
Trust me, Craig is no intellectual slouch
Tricia I so agree with you. There is a shit ton of emotional digging when one acts. For some acting is so very easy. For me it was a lot of work. It always killed me when an actor would ask, "What's my motivation"? Lazy bitch, do the work. You can't be a complete eegit to be an actor but conversely I'm not sure you should overthink it either.

ReplyDeleteDaniel Craig is not sitting home pining for his wife. If there is any truth to this blind, he is thankful for the free time. I have heard he is currently romancing a high profile married actress (someone who surprisingly didn't make enty's A to D List Rankings, considering her popularity and the success of her many films). If his wife is engaged in extracurricular activities it would explain how he finds the time to spend with her. How she manages it, with a husband and kid, is another thing. I was disappointed when I heard about it. I'm a big fan of hers.

ReplyDeleteCraig is far from being dumb. His interviews may be rewritten, but he speaks articulately on a few topics, particularly acting, more than many actors do. Previous to being cast as James Bond, he did a lot of theater and challenging projects.
One week, Craig shouts at his wife during a rehearsal because he knows she's cheating. The week later, he has no clue he's being cheated on. The week later, he had an affair with Rooney Mara on the set of Millennium, because he has always been a cheater, and he keeps on cheating
This guy and Rachel have apparently more clones than Tatiana Maslany on Orphan Black.
Or Enty is a disgruntled Brosnanite who has one more blind item to write to fill the quota and types the first idea he has in mind.

I don't understand why celebrities bother to get married at all. Almost all of them cheat so why bother to get hitched? Most likely they have an open marriage.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Daniel is gay. I would imagine he's experimented with men but at his core I think he likes women most.
Finally, his work before Bond is really fantastic. Some have mentioned Mother and the Balloon film but there are others that he has done that are quite good.
