This unemployed "journalist" has really played his cards right. Not only will he be pulling in massive dollars for the next couple of decades because of his A list mostly movie actress/Golden Globe winner/nominee girlfriend but he also got his name added to the title of two of her houses. A monthly allowance is one thing but she added his name to multi-million dollar homes.

DeleteI don't think ScarJo is an idiot. I'm sure she knows exactly the kind of guy he is, whether gold digger or not. It seems like whenever a female celeb marries a "normal", there has to be an ulterior motive.

She's been played big time, he portrayed himself to her as a international super-journalist with loads of experience ect....when he's none of those things. Very few journalists knew who this dude was before he started dating her, con man alert!! Kind of serves her right, yes she's sexy with a killer bod she also screams pretentious know-it-all who thinks she's a lot smarter and worldly than she actually is. I see this marriage unofficially lasting 3-4 years but lasting a but longer because Scarjo will have a hard time admitting she got played big time by this dude.
ReplyDeleteHey Dingle Barry and Freya, as well as a supporting part in the Block Busters she is also critically acclaimed lately since she voiced in the Spike Jonze movie starring Joaquin Phoenix. I keep seeing ads and praise but haven't paid attention so I don't know if it's just one role or more. Just know she looks very tiny w black hair on some. Also, it's so sexist to pick on men such as Jessica Simpson's guy. If a woman can have a full-time husband and father, why not?

Long day of shopping in Atlanta and just now am reading the site so sorry for being late with this. She did date Sean Penn so that itself says she has questionable taste. Other than that, Count summed it up well and I agree with him.
ReplyDeleteSince he is the father of her child, this actually makes sense. If something happens to her, at least father and child will be housed without any major changes. And I am sure her manager has made sure there are other deals to protect her money.
ReplyDeleteI guess I see this differently. She's having their child. She's doing the right thing. Maybe they don't want to marry for whatever reason (that's their right) so she's making sure he and her child are secure should something happen to her. If tables were turned, many of us would be thinking him a cad for not making sure the mother of his child was "taken care of."

Here is the thing unless you are getting married why would the subject even come up? Unless he was pushing her to prove she trusted him, the kind of a move a charming con artist would be skilled at pulling off.
ReplyDeleteI'd be keeping an eye on any mortgages suddenly appearing on those properties without someone's knowledge, call me cynical but I've seen spouses rip off their other spouse never mind people not married AND who have not known each other long.
Theoretically a spouse [or a joint owner or tenant in common] cannot put a mortgage on the property without the other party's consent but a friend of mine her husband just forged her signature, he had gambling debts and a drug problem and she only found out about it when he skipped town, probably owed more money to people who are not nice, after clearing out their joint bank account never to return. His parents however were so embarrassed they reimbursed her for the money she was out - he was a rich boy gone bad. She got lucky than most spouses who are ripped off.
To me the dubious part is the fake-journalist part. I think all of us naysayers are just piking on the posing as a journalist bit. I Googled his name: NADA.

If a girl wants to get into a relationship with someone broke, yes she can and it's her choice.
That said, maybe ScarJo knows the truth about this guy, and we don't.
With all the background checks, etc that can be done nowadays, including running a simple credit check for $35 online, she deserves what she gets. They all do, both men and women who marry the posers.
ReplyDeleteScarJo's problems started when she dumped her mother as her manager. Mom was one of the few great momagers who handled her daughter's career deftly, found her wonderful roles and moved her into positions for even better roles.
ReplyDeleteThen Scar decided to do everything herself. Her career immediately stumbled and she's now the "interesting" bimbo in every movie.
She ain't that smart and has no instincts for people. Mom must be totally deflated by Scar's choices.
OTOH, Scar has kept her relationship and pregnancy mostly hidden from the public eye. If she can do it, any celeb can.
