The man responsible for getting slapped by Will Smith and crawling under the dress of America Ferrera at Cannes was arrested last night at the premiere of Maleficent when he punched Brad Pitt in the face. There was no apparent damage to Pitt's face because he kept on posing for photos after the incident, but this is turning into some scary stuff. I know the guy was arrested almost immediately, but these premieres are so open and anyone can rush one of the celebrities. At some point I wonder how far back the crowds are going to be pushed so this kind of thing doesn't keep happening. The perpetrator, Vitalii Sediuk, has been charged with misdemeanor battery and is currently being held until he puts up his $20,000 bail.
Why wasn't he arrested for that America incident? Or was he? Surely that was assault?

Absolutely, Alita. Exceptions can always be made for those jag offs. I had a laptop boosted from my vehicle last summer. Parked in my driveway. Fortunately, I had leg it open or they would've just smashed a window like the 4 other cars in the neighborhood.

That's terrible. The rest of his antics can be considered a stupid ill advised joke, but punching someone on the face is something else. How did this guy even get near?

Along with the Will Smith thing, and looking up America Ferrara's dress, there are pictures in the Daily Mail of him sticking his face in the crotch of Bradley Cooper and Leonardo Dicaprio.
