The Communists in the U.S. were feared because their goal was to overthrow the government and make us all Communists. I don't mind Communists, but I don't want to be one.
I'm not sure one can actually buy the old FBI files. Sorry I'd be very surprised if that can happen. Maybe drunk Liza said so but may not be true.

You can't "buy" your FBI files. They are public information, you simply file a freedom of information request. It is probable that the information you receive will be highly edited (i.e. black lines through it) depending on sensitivity, potential identification of sources, security etc. A person may have requested the mother's file and subsequently sold that physical copy to the daughter but the original remains in FBI hands and copies can be requested by anyone.

ReplyDeleteAs for Prince and being JW, he might have found religion but he sure didn't lose his sex appeal or naughty streak. In concert (when he opened the O2) he played a few notes of a song (I think it was Darling Nikki), which got everyone worked up, then he stopped and smiled THAT smile and said "I can't play that one anymore."
Maybe you had to be there, but it was ridiculously flirtatious.
I never ever "got" the Prince sex appeal until I saw him in concert. Same with Lyle Lovett.
