    1. Seven, Calvary is amazing. Really tough to watch at times but Gleeson is a powerhouse. An added bonus is playing 'where does Aidan Gillen's accent come from this time?'

but def watch Calvary. And if you haven't seen The Guard, check it out too!

    2. @Wee S, ermagersh, Don Cheadle AND Brendan Gleeson? <3 Thank you!

I love Brendan Gleeson. He was amazing in In Bruges (one of my favorite movies) and then I look at his IMDB and whaaaa - he was Michael Collins? Braveheart's bestie? The king of Sparta? Beuwolf's bestie?

      A powerhouse indeed!

    3. I genuinely love him as an actor. He can make me laugh so hard one minute I'm falling off the chair and the next I'm wanting to cry.

And lets not forget Mad-Eye Moody in Harry Potter!

  8. I think Chris O'Dowd is the only one who's excited because he doesn't feel entitled.

Doesn't it look like Mel B is asking, "Can I bother you for a teeny scooch of toilet paper?"

  11. Tragic Michael Jace situation. That photo really doesn't belong in the middle of a pack of publicity and pap photos.

  12. Web Therapy is great! And so respected she gets people like Meryl Streep as recurring guests.

  13. I'm so sorry, but "being charged with murder" - I laughed.

  14. What happened with Mary's shoes though? Uglay!

Love Lyle Lovett's music too. Saw him when he was just starting out and he opened for Bonnie Raitt...I took the last spoke I could find at the Carolina Theatre after driving all over only to have someone tell me to move for a BMW with TX plates..It was Lyles.. Show was "interesting". Like nothing I'd heard before. And in a good way.

    1. Wow, thanks, Dingle, maybe if I was 2 feet taller and 100 lbs lighter! True story: someone once told me her brother thought I was just like Lisa Kudrow and I was all excited until I asked why: apparently I came across as "flaky". Like whatEVER!

The Michael Jace thing is just sad.

  24. Kudrow is channeling a bit of Christina Hendricks.

    Mena is looking...different.

Lyle's mouth seems like it's getting longer.

Mary Steenburgen never ages and always looks beautiful. I'd love to have her genes...

  29. To put things in perspective: Jamie Lee Curtis is 55, Melanie Griffith is 56 and Mary Steenburgen is 61. Jamie Lee and Mary look incredible. I don't know if either has had any (facial) plastic surgery but if they have it was subtle. As for Melanie...too too much.

  30. Sardi's brings back wonderful memories of my mother and our NYC exploits. She'd always take me there for an early dinner when we were going to see a show on Broadway.
