Blind Item #10

This aging former A+ list mostly television actress who was one of the most iconic figures in television history for her role now provides companionship to men of her age who want a night with their former fantasy. No matter how much you pay though she won't dress up in the outfit that made her famous.

    1. Shit I didn't realize she died like yesterday. Apologies to the friendliest lady on tv, normally I'm not that troll-y. But she was legitimately my first thought when I got to the part about the outfit.

  5. Wonder Woman. Isn't that a symbol of horned to most guys?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Well hell. Hotness, not horned. But it fits. Go with it.

  10. Lt Uruhu (?) from Star Trek. I am no Trekkie.

  11. Lynda is happily married and tours so I will go with Barbara Eden

    ReplyDelete
  12. I immediately thought Wonder Woman for the "iconic" and "history" - but Lynda Carter is married to Robert Altman.

    ReplyDelete
  13. isn't Robert Altman dead?

    ReplyDelete

    1. @Derek, different Robert Altman. This one is a lawyer.

  22. I don't want this to be Jeannie, but are any of the others mentioned A+ list and iconic?

    ReplyDelete
  23. I was going to say Wonder Woman too (Lynda Carter) but she is still married to Robert Altman. Either Cat Woman or Jeanie.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Marlo Thomas, That Girl.

  25. Hot Lips put the move on me about 20 years ago.
    I'm female.

  26. Angie Dickinson, Police Woman.

  27. I'm really leaning towards Lynda Carter. Barbara Eden has 20 years on her. That does it for my personal "outfit that made her famous" list.

I *am* an Original Series trekkie and follow Nichelle Nichols on FB. She's a church lady and looks every bit of her 81 years.

"Iconic", "history" & "men of her age" makes me think we are not talking about 45 year old men.

How about Sally Field & The Flying Nun?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Charo!!!! (is she still alive?)

    ReplyDelete
  29. Charo's still alive and a very talented musician.

  30. Diana Rigg, The Avengers, cat suit

  31. Barbara Eden…Jeanie

    ReplyDelete
  32. Look at Barbara Eden's recent photos. She'd have to wear that stupid face veil.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I think pammy and her bathing suit. Jeanie's too old and Wonder Woman married. Isn't Pam known for dating for dollars?

    ReplyDelete

  35. Pam is also married

    ReplyDelete
  36. I think it is Roger Altman, not Robert. Very WEALTHY DUDE.

    ReplyDelete

    1. @Haywood, it's Robert A. Altman, a lawyer with some shady background.

Roger Altman was Deputy Secty of the Treasury under Clinton.

But where does Eric Holder fit into all this?

  37. Lynda Carter's been pretty loud and public about being a very conservative Christian -- she's talked about being ashamed of her nude scene with Marjoe Gortner in Bobbi Jo and the Outlaw and hating that men seek it out for prurient purposes -- so I'm going to rule her out.

My first thought hitting the "outfit that made her famous" was Barbara Eden as Jeannie, which would make me terribly sad, so I'm choosing not to believe that. Same for the later suggestion of "Catwoman" from Batman, if you're talking about Julie Newmar. (There was also Eartha Kitt, who I believe is no longer among the living, and Lee Merriwether, whose status I don't know.)

I don't know who that would leave.

  38. Lucy Lawless, Xena Warrior Princess

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. @Frosty I thought so too but I confirmed per the internet that she is the only person to ever portray Xena. She is Xena, like Hugh Jackman is Wolverine.

  39. If we're actually going back far enough that the age of the men has to be noted, I can't think of anyone who's not been mentioned, @Jonathan Andrew Sheen.

  40. Pammy is married to that sleazeball.

Holy wow, @Kno, that picture reminded me of THIS!

    ReplyDelete
  41. LOL @7!
How about really old *blind* men?

    ReplyDelete
  42. What's the point of sleeping with any of them if they won't wear the costume?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  43. If you're going to ho it up for money, why not make more by putting on a particular outfit? Maybe it is something that wouldn't be flattering for an older dame. If that's the case, maybe Jeannie?

  44. Polly "Kiss my grits" Holliday.

    or

  45. unlikely to be lynda carter; she's married to a bigtime power broker robert altman in wdc.

  46. MTM is practically blind and requires an attendant.
Polly Holliday's a possibility, especially in that she's still alive & ambulatory. That's the sum total of my Polly Holliday knowledge.

  47. Oh c'mon,,,,Carrie fisher,,,,Princess Leia,...

    Polly Holiday (Flo)?

...in her waitress uniform from Alice?

  53. I hope this one is revealed.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Gotta be Barbara Eden. She has made it known that everyone still wants to see her in the Jeannie outfit. AND she does still look good. Doubt she's tricking maybe just grieving them the treat of being with her.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I guess I'm the only one here who read it as Pinky Tuscadero.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Barbara Eden is 82 years old for chrissakes, this blind says she spends the night with men her age. I sincerely hope it's not her, hooking at 82 doesn't bear thinking about. I'm still with Carrie fisher, her resume is mainly tv, she's divorced and she has known problems. Princess Leia was a big fantasy for many men, and she won't wear the costume again. I really hope Barbara Eden is not hooking at 82.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Daisy Duke or Xena.

No one dreams an 80y/o Jeanie in her outfit.

  58. @Topper: I would bet there aint no way Pinky or Leather could squeeze into them leather jumpsuits nowadays.

  59. Also, Barbara Eden does wear the outfit, quite happily, she was last pictured wearing it four years ago when she was 78.

  60. carrie fisher was never mostly tv, and she really didn't do that much in movies either. don't think this is her, and it just doesn't sound like her. she has tons of friends.

i would've said locklear until the outfit part. it's not lynda carter either. she's rich and married.

lucy lawless was a thought but A+? i don't think so.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Heather Locklear was on TJ. Hooker so it could be her cop uniform.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I revise! I agree with Catherine Bach. Geez, some of the guesses here are women ready for retirement homes...

    ReplyDelete
  63. Anonymous1:44 PM

She "provides companionship", not necessarily swinging from the chandelier.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Linda Carter is married to a Washington, DC millionaire and power broker. Definetely not her.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I agree with the Catherine Bach guess.

    ReplyDelete
  66. gotta like the sally field guess by noonyouknow; the outfit being the nun's habit from flying nun.

  69. Lynda Carter is not really aging, so not her. I like the Barbara Eden guess, "Master" and all.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I think I recall something about Catherine Bach doing meth. If that's true then I can definitely believe this blind is about her.

    ReplyDelete
  71. catherine bach and her daisy dukes play chelsea's mom now on young and restless. no one has mentioned that yet but i watch every day for 24 years now

    ReplyDelete
  72. Mimi from the Drew Cary Show

    ReplyDelete
  73. Dawn Wells, Mary Ann on Gilligan's Island.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I think Lawless is it. I just don't think there's that much of a market for 70 or 80 year old women, no matter how famous they once were.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Barbara Eden has been married for years to Jon Eicholz. She had a bestselling book last year. I seriously doubt this is her.

Other iconic TV women with famous outfits: Julie Newmar (Catwoman), Angie Dickinson (Police Woman), and I doubt it's either of them either.

  76. Def not Milton Berle in drag. Honestly, I got nothin.
