Blind Item #13

This B- list celebrity and sometime actress/model who has dated some very big names in Hollywood is the latest woman to be lured by that Middle Eastern businessman who pays big big bucks to spend the night with the women he sees on LA red carpets.

I hate the cup cakes as bra portion of a buzz No one thinks about cleaning up the mess in the morning...

    3. Ha! That's where I live! I was out & about last night too. At The Merrow (formerly Ruby Room). Pretty hungover right now, but no cupcakes for me. Oy.

    4. Where is Hillcrest/Northpark?

    5. They are neighborhoods in San Diego :) Chock-full of restaurants, bars and all sorts of fun places to play!

    6. Wooohooo missjenny! Maybe we crossed paths in the night ;)
I was mainly at Bar Pink and Hamiltons, which of course led to drunken Heaven Sent cupcakes...dear god

    8. No Lamplighter?

    9. Ruby Room is now called The Merrow, I was there last night. I go to all of the places you mentioned as well :) I live by the Whole Foods on Hillcrest.

    10. When did that change?! And yes. Lamplighter is amazing. But I suck at karaoke, do it anyways

Maybe someone else should give it a try and tell me if they have the same experience.

  12. I think after drinking its burgers and fries time. In NY we went to a place called White Castle which makes these small square thingys you chug by the dozen (in the south it would be similar to Crystals I think.) Then in the morning after you awaken you sit in the toilette for quite some time :(((

    ReplyDelete

    1. In the south we have krystal burger basically the same lovely little mini burgers. But Harold and Kumar go to White Castle was epic

  18. @Derek I feel ya! I totally like some R.Kelly songs. His antics are known. BUT if I was a mom my daughter would not go NEAR HIM. I can't believe these girls are about bout it.

I have a friend who worked in his studio since the 90's and Kelly likes em young. The sad thing is that the girls want him. I can't with that business.

    ReplyDelete
  19. @Freya Hahaha. I haven't seen the entire video. I want too. So, I can properly judge it <>>

    ReplyDelete
  20. I have only seen bits and pieces--I don't think it will ever be released. Kelly is a handsome man too bad he is a sicko....and whats with all his trapped in the closet songs? lol---I don't like those ones....

    ReplyDelete
  21. @Sandy yup, in the south it's Krystals. I for one prefer the breakie route. Bacon and Eggs w/cheese will cure every drunken night!

    ReplyDelete
  22. I love when he is very dramatic. It cracks me up. Very blues inspired but with over the top ridiculousness. Real Talk is one of my favorites and oh Happy People Remix.

  28. Best aspirin for a hangover (not prevention but day of) is a BC Powder. Nothing kills it like one of those. Followed by something spicy, hair of the dog and maybe a nap. If you can squeeze in a little rumpy bumpy (provided you are under 42), then all the better.

I loved R. Kelly! He had some awesome songs: Ignition, I Wish, sooo many good songs. Maybe even Bump N Grind, but I'd never admit it. I do like his new song with Gaga but find I'm morally conflicted about it.

Krystal should only be eaten if you are trashed or as a last resort on a road trip. They are total "gut bombers" and it's just like White Castle. 1. @Sandy I've been to Shoney's once when I was a kid and my family went to Kansas for a funeral. All I remember is our waiter was tall and skinny but had wide shoulders, with bright orange skin and super white hair. He looked like a carrot and it scared me. That's all I think of when I hear Shoney's.

      Delete
    2. Oh and Kansas City smells like old people. You can't escape it, that musty old people smell. I have a friend from there and when I told him that he confirmed it as fact and gave me permission to repeat it.

      Delete
    3. @Sandy Just seeing the word "Shoney's" made me feel a little hung over. The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet sopped up MUCH alcohol in my younger days. It was also the scene of a particularly heinous crime. My college town was very popular with retirees from Florida, and every summer, there was serious competition for seats at The Big Boy Buffet, and those senior citizens fought dirty. One particularly hungover morning we were lingering quietly over our food until one of my friends started chanting, "Oh my God! I am going to throw up!" and pointing to a booth. An elderly gentleman had, um, one of his TESTICLES hanging out of his shorts, and the hem of his shorts had it trapped on his thigh... ANYWAY, I thought my friend was being rude to holler like that til I looked at the geezer's face and he was winking at us.

      Good fuckin' times at Shoney's...

  60. I wish True Blood was still worthy of any effort. In any case (somewhat a spoiler) a major character dies in the first minute of tomorrows show (and if you saw the last minute of last seasons show you can make a very good guess because he wasn't at the viewing last week).

  61. Sandyboo, we had Shoney's in NC. I believe the parent company is also responsible for Cap't D's fish and chips. I know it's not English but gottdamn it's freaking yummy. Ah, a little over a week before I get those tasty treats back home. The hush puppies are so good and years ago they would leave the little crunches from the batter in the basket.

Amazing how tied we are to regional food faves.

I definitely don't think Eric will be the first to meet his maker. I'm going for Tara. As much as I loved the show starting out its gotten kinda bogged down and spun way out there. Hell even Charlaine Harris quit that shit and ended the series.

    1. @Orvilla high fucking five amen. Jesus I loved the show until season 4 and Bill would not go the fuck away like he was supposed to.

Also, while yay Regina got paid for all seasons instead of dying like her character (or being like Arleen I forget which), what's with their maime/rape/torture/kill the black woman trope? She's the only strong black female regularly on the show and while poor little white SOOKIE has to deal with her oh so painful love triangleoctagons, let's find new fun ways to torture Tara for shock value ratings. (Apparently my autocorrects has caps-lock issues)

Sorry. It just really bothered me how much fucked up shit they up they did to Tara every single season. But, I'm happy Regina got paid for longer than she would have if they stuck to the books.

  74. they tried to kill off alex last year and fans revolted and threatened to quit watching.
alex got a HUGE RAISE TO have his fires put out..he has so much even said in interviews that him being surrounded in the north Sweden snow helps him out. there have been photos of him filming last 5 months.if he dies it will be 2nd to last or last ep. when they had to give alex $$$$ they had to give anna and moyer = $$$ it's in their contract that no one gets more $$$ than them and no one gets more screen time than them. that's why they ended the show. too much money to keep alex and if you kill off alex fans won't watch. a/m have to get = what alex gets... dump the show
my money is on rutina the newly turned walking dead type thing she became last season..
and i don't know what killing her off has to do w/ lafayatte

B list: Raised from C to B on exposure alone, again bitch ain't got no job

Celebrity: see all of the above

You can make anything work if you want to! Next should we turn Angela Lansbury into Coke Mom?

But seriously, joking aside, my guess is Jessica Stam

    ReplyDelete
  84. @Riv-Tara doesn't get killed off in the books, she's married to JB, has a set of twins and owns a boutique. She's not a main character though.

    1. @Hammer that's what it was! It's been a few years but I couldn't recall exactly why she isn't in them much. But yeah she basically disappears in the books and isn't a MC, so the trade off for being a MC in the series is she gets tortured and killed every season.

    10. Did you take your rent-a-kids, Hammer? Decide on the job yet?

    11. I took one of them when it first came out. That was a long ass movie. I had that song in my head for a week.

No decision on the job yet. I'm still trying to decide if I want to jump back into what I was doing before or maybe wait it out awhile and do something else. Dealing with the elderly and the inevitable wears you down.

    14. Lol. I told him I had a blow up mattress he could have so he could sleep in the Walmart parking lot, since supposedly they don't kick people out of their lots.

    16. Just leave the mattress on the deck or in the hallway, guurl! Don't answer the door! Speak through! More wine coolers are needed. Oh wait, I know what we need! Mindy McCready singing "Ten Thousand Angels", dang she had a tragic life

      I agree with TTM. It's a trap!!!
And I find that Little Spanish Flea banishes ANY song and takes its place. But for a price...

I threatened to call his wife. I think he went a few shades lighter. I don't think he'll be back around again, I don't think he appreciated me telling him he was an average lay either.

Miike does some crazy shit. I love Happiness of the Katakuris because it's just so weird and wonderful. Following that up by watching Gozu is a mind trip. I had to watch Audition for my thesis research and I barely made it through.

Iron Monkey! I fangirl over Donnie Yen so hard. I think his fight scenes are so much better than Jet Li or Jackie Chan's but that's just me.

My thesis was basically an analysis of feminism in Japanese horror films, focusing on films with female killers. I was saturated in Asian horror films for 4 years and haven't kept up with it since I finished. I think it's time I got caught back up. I can't even remember the last movie I watched.
