Today's Blind Items - Kindness
This actress is foreign born. Really close to A list. She is a fairly good actress but it barely compares to the clothes she is always wearing. Our actress has had the same housekeeper for years. She has always matched the salary of her housekeeper every year with a bonus equivalent to the housekeeper's salary, but also paid for all the legal fees to get the relatives of the housekeeper to the States. She found all the relatives jobs and bought a house where they all live. Our actress says she would do the same for her own family and she considers the housekeeper family.

ReplyDeleteHBC is not a fairly good actress, she's an excellent actress. I was thinking Diane Kruger since she's always so well dressed. Not sure about the rating tho.

Deletethe actress.. hbc.. is a list in talent, but is often overlooked for major roles and not taken seriously b/c she shows up on red carpets looking like a clown and basically thumbing her nose at the industry.

play the game - so she does not get the roles that = her talent b/c her sloppy dressing is seen as a snub to the movie industry..but johnny depp dresses like an assclown who hasn't showered in a month , oh but he is an "artist" so it's ok.. always the double-standard. lupita plays the game hbc does not.. lupita is on every red carpet hbc lives her life

ReplyDeleteSo are the relatives of the housekeeper here legally or illegally? If legally, how did they qualify for having skills lacking in the general American public? People always forget that part. It's not enough to just come here and get a job, you have to have skills that are needed.
ReplyDeleteSo, look at people who are big donors/friends to the DNC and were able to push immigration through without the usual wait.
Rowdy - says she paid legal fees. I think that means they're here legally. And she found them jobs too.
DeleteA huge difference between Luptia and Helena is that Lupita is new to the scene. Yes, she goes to all the red carpets, why wouldn't she? She needs to make a name for herself. Helena is an established actress with years of experience and doesn't necessarily need to walk the red carpets to get her name out there. I don't know if she isn't taken as a serious actress necessarily. She most likely chooses her roles specifically.
ReplyDeleteAs far as Depp, he would still be doing quirky original films if it weren't for Pirates. I actually hate that Pirates turned him into who he is today. He had some great films before he became "Hollywood". Now his acting is a joke, but he made them money. BIG money! That's why he isn't shunned!

ReplyDeleteLupita just hit it big this year, so I doubt from years before she was able to give a good bonus to a housekeeper.
Diane Kruger immediately came to mind for me. She's so low key that I could totally see her doing this. And her wardrobe is to die for.

DeleteThis is Selma Hayek. Yes, there are rumors that she is mean but I have never believed them. She's a nice lady and I remember interviews from early in her career where she talks about appreciating people who work hard. She hasn't always been the wife of a billionaire. She is very generous to her people.
