Blind Item #9

This B- list mostly television actor from a hit show that one of the cable networks that belies its name refuses to film any one on one scenes with one of the leads of the show. He hates her and never fails to take digs at her when he can. They have done group scenes, but no one on one even though they are siblings. He is thisclose to getting kicked off the show.

  8. Have no idea what cable network belies its name and refuses to film one on one scenes too.

  9. what?

I don't get this----what's that crap about the network belies????

  10. Adam and Gabby works but Adam is the true break-out star of Girls--I don't see them firing him---they are lucky to still have him in a way (though he would be a fool to quit such a great show).

  11. Ok I have two possible interpretations:
    1) The network isn't living up to it's name (ie Abc family etc)
    2) shown on multiple networks or moved (ie Cougar Town)

  12. Belies is to misrepresent so TnT..didn't Ted Turner sell it?

    1. The syntax in sentence one is reprehensible but if it is the Driver/Hoffman guess, it could be HBO "belying" is name in that it is not actually a box office... I think of HBO as premium cable though. Your TNT guess is very good, iirc the network was sold, yes. Good catch!

    2. I was thinking of SciFi/SyFy when they started showing wrestling instead of, you know, Science Fiction. But they seem to be getting better about that.

  13. Good guess Tricia. What about Angie Harmon & her lil bro Tommy from Rizzoli & isles?

    Messer M
    Jordana

  15. TNT and TBS could be the network because Ted Turner does not own them any longer Tricia

  16. Jessie M and his sis on show
    Dallas/TnT

  17. Not Adam Driver. He is the best thing, both from a technical acting sense, and being actually enjoyable to watch, about the show. Plus the character of his sister is not a lead.

  18. Are any walking dead siblings?

  19. So do they play siblings or are they real siblings?

    1. Ah sick either way.
WTF! Is this what HWood is promoting now - let's make incest mainstream?
They already launched make everything porn mainstream via their hooker-baby mama syndrome.
      What next? Beastiality on Nickelodeon?

  20. I thought MTV because that means music television but there isn't much music anymore. I don't watch anything on that channel so can't guess about which program.

  21. I was thinking the stupidly renamed SyFy.

  22. The phrase "one of the cable networks that belies its name" is clearly referring to The Learning Channel or The History Channel. Neither have been about their names for some time.

That said, I don't watch that shit, so... no guesses.

    1. There is a new Storage Wars (A&E) type show about motorcycle dipwads called Biker Battleground: Phoenix. It's on THE HISTORY CHANNEL ! I highly doubt any of the cast even passed a history class after elementary school !

    2. Don't they pretty much all do that? I sure as hell haven't seen any Art on A&E in about a decade.

  23. this BI is making me not care

  24. ...Oh, possibly A&E, too, which used to actually be about arts and entertainment.

  25. AMC- American Movie Classics turned into American Movie Channel a few years ago when they stopped playing old classic movies. Now they are more known for their hit shows.

  26. @Ruby agree about MTV, but it's only scripted hit show is Teen Wolf. Jeff Davis has already killed off or just ignored the previous existence of any female leads. Well, except for 1 but that character doesn't have siblings.

Why do I know this shit? Ugh.

  27. "one of the cable networks that belies its name" ABC Family? Could be any of their raunchy teen shows. I hear Jake Austin is in trouble with them for his DUI.

  28. Bravo could also fit. Used to be a great movie channel. We've got a huge list of former great channels that bit the dust of reality shows, how sad.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I was thinking Shameless on Showtime

We arlready know Emmy is a bitch.

And I'm gonna say Lip is the brother that cant stand her.

  30. Here I was hoping someone could figure this out.

I find it interesting that the Enty's will delete comments but after people complain about the comprehension of the blinds, never update to make them clear enough to guess. Seems lazy to me...Delete-easy, understandable-tough.

  31. @sherry I think I gave it a good stab..believe it's
TNT because Ted Turner sold it years ago so the fact that the name of the channel is Turner Broadcasting, is somewhat misleading
    tNT
    Dallas
    met calve
    Emma Brown(played by Emma bell)
Met calf/swings half sibling on show..

And no,.. I don't watch it

    ReplyDelete

    1. Agreed Tricia. You did a good job of helping to suss it out. As I don't don't watch either it still doesn't make sense to me. My complaint is with the Entards on that first crappy sentence. (I'm aware your statement wasn't you being defensive just a better explanation.) mwah! 💋

  32. All these other channels/guesses are looking too deep into the misrepresentation..Turner sold it is no longer associated but it's called TNT case closed.
Dallas cuz it's the only hit..metcalf fits rating...
The reality show people are not actors with ratings so eliminate that straight away...
His half sis and him on show my guess
