This A list celebrity/singer asked to be drugged and unconscious for the first few days of withdrawals so she wouldn't have to deal with it all. The facility refused. Coming off the drugs has apparently been really really hard.

    I've never done drugs( no sarcasm here)..and I feel for the girl. ....but a longer time out of the spotlight and hollyweird would serve her better than any tv gig, your, or illusion of a career...there is no hope in that town for so done invested in self preservation

    I don't blame her - who wouldn't want to avoid the misery of withdrawals?

    Anyone here actually think to themselves, "yeah, if I was coming off drugs I would want to feel as much physical misery as humanly possible."

    Because remember - if you're over 18 it's voluntary and at any moment you can stand up, say "F'ck THIS" and go get some drugs.

    1) sedation is not a good wd method. Too iffy.

    2) the suffering is a good lesson for your memory. Trust.

    3) methadone is the most god awful drug to detox from, of the opiods. Fact. It's like dancing on Satan's taint.

    4) if you have a serious opiod addiction, DON'T detox yourself. Get help, plz.
