This former A list mostly movie actress who still has A list name recognition despite not doing much in the way of consistent acting over the past decade says there was a point she was homeless because she lost all of her money after her then boyfriend who is an A+ list mostly movie actor convinced her to invest her money in a company that went bankrupt. When she complained to the boyfriend he dumped her.

Just an idea...
Meg Ryan and Russell Crowe to be different. But I prefer the Winona and Matt guess. Crowe isn't necessarily A+ anymore, isn't likely to tell his girlfriend to invest in some company, and had other reasons to break up with her.

ReplyDeleteI have a friend whose immigrant parents are EXTREMELY wealthy (multiple large apartment buildings in a very high rent city). She and her sister are going to inherit everything - and soon. She is extremely loyal to her husband who comes from a family with no money ... but one time several years ago they had a fight and he disappeared and she was so upset she told me stuff she would normally never tell anybody. Like how he took several thousand dollars of her money and put it in a stock brokerage account in his name only.
ReplyDeleteThe fight blew over and she's back to cooing about how in love with him she is.
But that left me with a very bad taste in my mouth and now I look at him differently.
He's no slacker, he has a PhD and is working hard to grow his business. But taking HER money and putting it in HIS name? Not good.
And by the way, even though her parents are wealthy that doesn't mean SHE has money - yet.
