This C list celebrity offspring who is trying to Instagram her way to A list might have a last name but no real talent. Anyway she does have a fan base and tried to parlay that into some free things. She told the company she would love some of their products and agreed to pose with them in exchange for the products which can be quite expensive. Well, her relative's publicist found out about it and stopped the transaction from taking place. Our celebrity offspring is a big fan of sex toys. That would have been a great to see it happen.

ReplyDeleteYeah, that would have been a hoot, wouldn't it? ;-) Seriously, though, if they're the pricey ones, they're probably better quality--BION, there's a big problem w/lots of sex toys being unsafe, and I don't just mean the batteries shorting out, either. A lot of them are made of very poor quality materials that degenerate quickly (most of the vinyl and "crystal" or "jelly" materials), and tend to contain pthalates that can be absorbed through mucous membranes and cause burning, rashes, and all kinds of unpleasantness. Stick w/the better quality materials such as real silicone, surgical steel, good quality hard plastics, etc. made and sold by companies such as Good Vibrations, Blowfish, Toys in Babeland, etc. (Quick rule of thumb: if the business is run by women and aimed largely at women, and with a strong feminist sensibility, odds are the toys are safe.) Most of what you see in the bigger chains isn't what you want...oh, and stick w/water-based lubricants, as silicone ones may damage silicone toys, and after you've spent your money on a good toy, you don't want to wreck it with the wrong kind of lube.
