This A+ list diva was so hammered at an event last week that not only couldn't she sing but she was having trouble even lip synching to her performance. Producers of the show were worried she would have to sit on a stool during her performance because during a rehearsal an hour before the show she couldn't even stand upright.

DeleteI hate to say this, since I probably sound gender-repressive to someone, somewhere - but once you've passed a certain age or point/circumstance in life, cutesy becomes pathetic. Rarely does anyone recover from "pathetic". It's like a tattoo.

DeleteSomeone needs to tell Mariah no more public appearances until she gets her shit together before she totally destroys her brand, it is already not good. Someone needs another round of rehab pronto. If she cares about those kids, she'll do it sooner than later.

ReplyDeleteSo which came first, the drinking or the marital problems? I'm going to make an uneducated guess that the drinking came first, on top of her colossal narcissism and genuine mental issues, and Nick became an afterthought in his own marriage.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the above comments, she needs to go to rehab, then intensive therapy, and stay out of the public eye until she is fully healthy again. Unfortunately, she probably fires everyone who tries to tell her that.
So sad. I'd love to have her talent (at anything) and her money, but not all the baggage that comes with it. I'll just stay right here in my blah middle class existence instead.

ReplyDeleteTotally agree with you FS. The drinking is causing the marital probs.i come from a family of alcoholics--never does the marriage break down then the drinking start. Never. The drinking always comes first.
ReplyDeleteI'll be honest with y'alL--I'm Team Nick. I can see his side in it very well. Life with an alcoholic is pure hell. Plus, he has lupus nephritis too, don't forget, and he certainly don't need to be around an alcoholic's drama. I don't blame dude for leaving.
