Rosie O'Donnell and Nicolle Wallace Already Hate Each Other

It hasn't even been a full week and there are already rumors that Rosie O'Donnell is ready to walk from The View. If it was anyone else I don't think I would believe it because who wants to walk from such an easy high paying gig. This is Rosie we are talking about though and she has had no problems walking away from other gigs including The View so maybe she would. If she is holding out hope that Nicolle Wallace is going to walk away though she is mistaken. Nicolle would have to be fired before she walks. Apparently the two of them fight all the time and Rosie complains about Nicolle all the time. Rosie wants to be the person who does all the speaking. She wants only her view on The View to be the one that people discuss and hates when people argue with her. I'm kind of shocked she doesn't want her own show again and is willing to be on The View where she is just one of four voices.

  1. She aint walking she knows this is the last tv job she will ever get. People dont like her.

  2. I watch the view (I know I hate myself for that too) and I don't really buy this. You can very easily tell when rosie hates somebody and while she seems annoyed by everyone at least sometimes she doesn't seem like she actually hates anyone especially not enough to quit. The chemistry between all the new people is way off though so I doubt this lineup will last anyway.

  3. Good point sandy. She has dropped out of the lime light i a Big way. No movies, no stand up, all name recognition. She bounces on this gig with her reputation of non co operation, she will get blackballed. With luck ...

  4. I like rosies spunk but she needs to chill a bit. nicole seems feisty in her own way so i doubt she will quit because of rosie's intimidation (or whatever it is). #TeamAlphaBitches!

  6. I saw the premiere show and Wallace was a dud. She barely spoke.

  7. I watched the first show this week and haven't put it on since, and I always had the old "View" running in my office just to listen to while I worked. I loved Rosie back years ago on her first show, when she would swoon about Tom Cruise, funny now that I know the truth from CDAN.... but she's become nasty over the years. Rosie Perez's voice was annoying, and I don't remember the other one saying a word either. Still love the Whoopster, so maybe I'll give it another shot this morning.

  8. Yeah Perez should be kept at a minimum with that voice. I was really hoping to see Wallace bring something to the table because she's not Hasselcrack.

  9. I was surprised Whoopi barely mentioned Robin Williams and acted as if it was a subject off limits. That was the weirdest part of the show on Monday; her reaction when Rosie O mentioned Robin Williams death.

  10. She's been on The View before, knows the deal. Hating someone isn't going to make her quit.

And frankly, I still don't understand how she went back on, she made such a huge deal about being devastated that Barbara Walters fired her the first time. (Although the party line was that she "quit").

  11. I watched one episode and it was really bad. Nicole Wallace was saying that she thought Rob Ford was "awesome" because he was such a mess and that she loved him for it. and Rosie got mad and was all like "hes a meth addict!"---NOT TRUE at all---she just pulls info out of her ass true or not. and then Whoopi said Rob represents the majority of straight men in N. America---um Rob smokes crack and beats his wife? and then Whoopi made some more ridiculous comments about Canadians. Rosie Perez basically didn't say a word during the whole Hot Topics segment.
Then Whoopi and Nicole interviewed Kirsten Dunst and Nicole would ask her a question and literaly talk over Kristen when she attempted to answer for a good 3 minutes--it was rough to watch and was so ridiculous they will probably show it on The Soup. And you could tell Kiki was getting pissed and had a look on her face like--"who IS THIS idiot!?"

    1. Whoopi and rosie both defended chris brown so I no longer respect either of them. The View manages to make me hate people I use to love.

  12. I guess they are trying to "matenopolis" her. I dont believe Rosie D bitching so much already: I think its PR to get people to watch. (Which I dont, lol)

  13. I can't stand Rosie. I think she is a horrible horrible person. She and Whoopie are rumored to not like each other, and now Nicolle. Gee...I wonder who the problem person is?

  14. @Derek, I missed the part about Rob Ford, guess I tuned in late. And @jack, you are right, Whoopi tends to be a little off in her support sometimes. I waver in my love for her occasionally.

  15. I bet these are leaks spilled by ABC to get ratings.Probably untrue but it will bring in ratings.

  16. 1. GossipCop already already debunked the rumor that Rosie is ready to quit. 2. Even as a flaming liberal I prefer Nicole Wallace over Rosie any day.

  17. Oh well, I just turned it on, so I guess their PR is paying off... we'll see how today goes.

  18. Okay, for those of us who said Whoopi didn't mention Robin Williams, she and Billy Crystal are discussing him, and she his obviously heartbroken. Very touching tribute.

  19. I would be waving goodbye to Rose and saying don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. Can't stand her anymore.

  20. Of course I don't watch the show - not sure what time it is on but what little I have seen of it is snoozerville when you need something to wake you up.

I miss the Phil Donahue style of talk show. Women nattering for an hour, I just have to go out with my female friends and we probably have more interesting natterings. We even do better on the spot interviews - like the hunky Irish restaurant manager a few weeks ago.

  21. Won't watch..can't start day agitated by the always divisive Rosie. Happier thought..hunky Irish manager..thanks Tina m.

  22. I can not stand Rosie O'Donnell and I am very surprised that they brought her back. She is a nasty human being with a huge ego and an inability to understand how people could disagree with her. I never watched the show before but I could not even imagine watching it now

  23. 1/2 the country hates Rosie and always will because of her views and she knew this when signing on to rejoin the show. I'm sure that $8 million per year she's getting is worth putting up with Nicolle Wallace for five hours a week. Besides, what's Rosie going to do if she leaves? Wait for the call announcing Flintstones 3?

  24. They should have brought back Joy. She's the only one I liked the few times I ever saw it (back in the Star Jones era). I can't imagine anyone being interested in watching a show with Rosie O & Whoopie. That sounds like a snooze Fest.

  25. Whoopie's great, except for her rather peculiar ideas about rape and rape-rape.

Rosie's abrasive and crude but anyone who bugs the shit out of that fool Trump is okay by me.

Nicolle Wallace was occasionally amusing on Maddow's show. She's not as dumb and myopic as some of her fellow travelers.

The show wants some back and for between the "liberal" and the "conservative" that's why they're cast.

One thing though, Rob Ford IS a meth addict.

  26. O'Donnell is such a miserable fucking cunt. Who in their right mind would want to be on a show with her?

  27. I have watched all week, and this is the best View cast they've had. The only bad things this week were Whoopi defending the child beater football player, and that stupid little coffee table on the set that makes them all bend over to set their drinks down.

Nicolle is obviously not experienced at the general stuff as the others, Rosie Perez is fantastic, and Rosie O is actually holding back and visibly NOT dominating things.

I think Whoopi has had some adjustment issues--but she's been talking to Jenny and Sherri for too long--it may take her a bit to be able to have a real conversation again.

Rosie O and Nicolle have disagreed--very civilly on a couple of things so far, but honestly--so far, it's been what the View was intended to be --different points of View. They've only been on 5 days and they've already improved from the first day.
I think this is perfect for Rosie--she gets to do her thing--they only work 4 days a week in the mornings--she can spend time with her wife and new baby and her other kids, and take off if she wants to and they'll get a guest host.
I think it is a good gig for people like Ro and Whoopi who do other things sometimes--they can take off and come back and the show goes on.

  28. How is this show still on? Even my mom doesn't watch it anymore. They would have made it more interesting if they would have added 2 new men instead of 2 women.

I miss Phil Donahue. Even Geraldo's talk show was more interesting.

  29. I've said it before, and will say it again....Rosie O'Donnell is a gross pile of shit. Who the hell actually likes her? Who is clamoring to see her on TV, or anywhere? She is utterly vile, unlikable and a pig. Stop putting her on TV!!

  30. @Malibu---would you please elaborate on Rob Ford being a meth addict? As someone living in the city he is mayor of- it is the first I have heard about it---never been stated before besides when dumb ass Rosie stated it and yourself...

  31. Wow this is a shocker!! I said it before the producers have shifted from actually presenting and intelligent discussion shot to a shitfest with the goal of putting together the most volatile combinations possible. Given the show is now in the news more I guess they got what they wanted. We are still talking about it.

  32. @derek have to agree with you. My inlaws live across the street from him and that's one thing we don't see. Aren't meth addicts skinny? Wishing him well in this fight, he is a husband and father, feel sorry for those poor kids.

  33. Thank you Car54, I totally agree!

I am wondering if Nicolle will last though, her putting Ford on a pedestal was too much and interestingly (or not lol) it was Whoopie who knew why he wasn't skinny from meth. Right after that they went to another topic, so no more discussion.
