Amanda Bynes Placed On 5150 Hold

The villain from the Britney Spears meltdown has returned in true Hollywood fashion and saved the day for now with Amanda Bynes. When Amanda's parents saw that Amanda and Sam Lufti were communicating, they contacted Sam. He managed to convince Amanda to fly to LA. He got her on the plane by promising to help her sue her parents and that he had a lawyer lined up in Pasadena. Amanda went with him to Pasadena to what she thought was an office, but turned out to be a hospital where doctors quickly placed Amanda on a 5150 hold. During the period she is on a 5150 hold, her parents will obtain another conservatorship. It had to be done, and I can't believe Sam Lufti is the guy who made it happen.

  1. Apparently everybody is still recovering from the past couple of days.

    1. I am so sorry. Here I am getting frustrated because I can't explain the concept of sleeping in to a 5 year old, and you have to work.

    2. Lol bellaluna!
At least I get to sleep in on my days off!
      Sorry girl!

  3. The site isn't allowing people on. The only reason I could get here is because I turned off the wifi on my phone an am using 4G. It kept saying the site "timed out".

    1. Hey, Pip! I'm on 4G too. Hmmm.
      That's odd tho.

    2. Whoa me too! I'm on LTE bc I turned off my wifi. Don't know if this is connected but my entire Safari crashed on my iphone and all my open web pages were gone.

    1. All I have is wifi, and it's OK. But I will tell you that I have a lot less ad drama and a much faster, easier time of it on my phone vs. My laptop.

  6. On my computer it came up for like 5 seconds. The page looks totally different like Entry is doing some remodeling. If that's how it is going to stay, I'm not sure I like what I saw.

    1. I'm on the mobile site. Maybe the regular site is having issues? Are they tied together or are they 2 separate entities?

  7. OMG, who would have ever thought this guy would do something beneficial to another human being.

I truly hope Amanda gets the help she needs.

  8. So maybe it's under construction and that's why it's hard to access.

  9. Every time a female celebrity has a breakdown, Sam Lufti crawls out of his hole in the ground. I don't trust ANYTHING he's a part of. Didn't Britney's dad contact someone at one point to warn them about Sam sniffing around their kid? I feel like I remember that.

  10. Most likely a Blogger issue. It's not really stable (hence the "conflicting edits" message you get sometimes).

I know "Lufti" sounds easier to pronounce, but Mr Shady's name is LUTFI.

I'm glad Mandy is getting some help, I wish the parents hadn't given up the previous conservatorship, and as long as roaches like Perez Hilton trumpet their *EXCLUSIVE QUOTES* from a clearly disturbed person, Blogger will keep breaking.

"Last time I trusted Lutfi he put me in a conservatorship which ended in August I'm not stupid. You are all listening to my brain…I can handle Sam, he just flew me back to LA and I'm going to meet some sick lawyers."

    1. So... wait.... the problems on CDaN are all Perez Hilton's fault?
      I KNEW it!

    2. Full disclaimer: I LOVE velvet. But the brown velvet blazer with what appears to be a black tshirt and BALL CAP ffs...

    3. TBH, I think I have that same blazer...

  17. I'm with you @basil, who is Sam and why or how was he involved with Brit & Amanda...?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Everyone is saying Sam did a good thing--he didn't suddenly change from a predator into a great guy. He obviously has some ulterior motive. Just wait.

    ReplyDelete
  19. And sales people in NYC breathe a sigh of relief. At least she's off the streets and hopefully getting help,

    ReplyDelete
  20. I see Sam was offended by my slimeball comment yesterday and is trying to prove to me he isn't. Well the important thing is Amanda will be safe for now.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Well is it possible he got flack for the revelation about Britney yesterday and he is trying to make himself look good. Did the parents contact Sam or did he "offer". As long as he is only the facilitator and has NO ROLE to play if the parents are able to regain another conservatorship.

  22. @Lowkey - EVERYTHING is Perez's fault.

That was some move on the part of Amanda's parents. Forget Tom Cruise - these two should star in the next Mission: Impossible movie.

@Cblondy - yes, I imagine they are all removing these signs from their doors today.

  23. I hope the guy got a nice payment and a BJ in the limo on the way to the hospital, for his trouble.

  24. Sam is a handler. I don't trust him. I don't know if this conservatorship is any better than Amanda dying TBH

  25. a couple of days ago i couldn't get onto CDAN because of adult content blocking. I finally realized why that was. my wireless router at home had been acting wonky so I had set up my smart phone as a hot spot, and apparently t-mobile had set my controls so that I couldn't see a site like CDAN because it was supposedly too "adult" - so I tweaked the settings on myt-mobile.com and was good to go.

So everybody, whenever you think being on CDAN is infantile, it's not. It's ADULT!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Please that's part oft Sam plan a. He likes to place savior to gain their trust after that her gains the control.

Watch out Amanda ' s parent

    ReplyDelete
  27. Glad shes safe for now, but her parents have to fully admit she is mentally ill and will ALWAYS need medication. As for lutfi, im sure hes getting paid.

  28. Was Lufti really an awful person w the Spear's family? He's done a good thing for Amanda but in an unethical way. I want to know more about this guy.

    ReplyDelete
  29. So Sam is like captain-save-the-celebrity-mental-meltdown??? WHY is he involved?? Anytime I hear his name it makes me nervous.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I only read CDAN on my phone to avoid all those issues. So Lufti's gonna get some good publicity out of this.

    ReplyDelete
  31. My phone wont even take the site

  32. I went out for a while last night and when I got back the site was running a whole new multi-tabbed site with headings like fashion week, Mr X and Random Photos. I really didn't like the design much at all.

As for Amanda...I hope she gets the help she needs.

  33. Same thing for me, Audrey (that was after the Error 404). Seems to be working, for now.

Sam is a total slimeball, but if he helped get Amanda to a safe place, then props to him.

  34. @surfer I didn't get the error until this morning...and I am just going to admit right now that I apparently am attached to this site. Wouldn't have thought it was possible but it goes down for a few hours and I am in a state trying to figure out what I am going to do with my time on a Saturday morning.

  35. 22 hours ago Amanda tweeted:

"you feel like a brother to me @SamLutfi i mean it. Thank you luuuuv"

So my question is - did she tweet that before or after she found out he had tricked her?

    ReplyDelete
  36. pb. probably on the way to the airpot.. nyc to lax.. 5-6 hour flight. then getting her to Pasadena.

    ReplyDelete
  37. @sugar

Hmmm, looks like if you click on the "22 hours ago" you can get the precise time. It was 3:20 pm. That would be Pacific Time. So, 6:20 pm Eastern Time. Unless she got on a very late flight, my guess is she was in flight or had already landed.

She hasn't deleted that tweet yet. Her twitter feed is like snapchat - here today, gone tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  38. For example, yesterday she had 75 tweets, today only 67, and that's after the lufti tweet. So she's deleted at least 9 tweets in the past 24 hours.

    ReplyDelete
  39. she hasnt deleted b/c the probably took away her phone

  40. It's really sad to see how talented Amanda was and where she's at now. I hope the doctors can figure out something that will work for her. Mental illness is tragic.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Ah, poor Mandy. :/ I hope she gets some help.

I hated watching this play out, gawd, it's cringe-inducing.
