Blind Item #1 - Kindness

An American couple was dining at a restaurant in London and noticed this A+ list celebrity. Not sure of what to do or the protocol, they just kept staring, but didn't know how to ask for a photo. The A+ lister was alerted to them by some of his fellow diners and walked over to the couple and sat down with them and then posed for multiple photos. It was simple, but it made their entire vacation.

He's believed to be hosting a post-wedding celebration this weekend alongside his new wife, Amal.
And on Friday morning, George Clooney was spotted arriving at London's Heathrow Airport as he jetted back to the UK ahead of the happy occasion.
The 53-year-old actor looked fresh-faced and relaxed as he wandered through the arrivals terminal, in spite of his long transatlantic flight.

  7. Oh, man...why are we rehabbing Cruise? He's still the same overrated, awkward nutjob scientologist with a heart of stone.

    1. Seriously. He can be rehabbed 'til the cows come home and I'll still never watch a movie with him in it.

  8. With the word "protocol", gotta be someone in the royal family. I think Prince Ginge would be pretty approachable, so that's my guess. Yes, I do guess occasionally. :)

    She just said, 'Hi!'
    She said he responded, "Hello."

  16. The protocol is dont fuckin stare. Londoners are way too cool to react to a famous.

There must be dozens of A listers in London on any day.

  22. Maybe it is Prince Harry.

  25. Thanks! *curtsies none too gracefully*

  26. Yeah since he said "protocol" I'm thinking it was someone royal. Probably Prince Harry.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Good catch and guess sugarbread. I can easily imagine Prince Harry doing this before most actors.

  28. Restaurants are tricky. You DO NOT approach Springsteen when he is out with his family. My sister saw him just destroy someone at a restaurant in NJ. She also saw him at a small charity auction where he was generous and wonderful.

  29. Tom Cruise from Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol

  30. I like the Beckham guess. He always seems so chill.

  31. Tom Cruise has a reputation for being incredibly nice and professional, this could be him.

Even with my extensive (!!) reading about $cientology, the consensus seems to be he's not incredibly intelligent and has been swept up in the machine. David Miscavidge is the Co$ villian by 1000%.

So Tom Cruise is a good actor, nice guy, not the smartest block of cheese. I can believe it.

  32. "Protocol" makes me hunk it's a royal.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Oops, looks like I'm not the only one who thinks so. I should have read other comments first.

  34. Whoever it was, that's great. Given how much Clooney has been in London lately, I'll go with him.

    ReplyDelete
  35. @*Reese yeah my guess..and i tend to think it's him based on random pix(they are 6/7 hours later and enty iin LA (+3) so he conceivably could've had dinner for the blind...

Totals have all been A++ in my experience....if f'in beckam is, is should hope they are lol

Plus Clooney IS more a celebrity than actor/_director these days....since Je aligned with her it's pure celebrity driven

    ReplyDelete
  36. Meant*LA is - 3 plus where I am so
9/10.hours later in Yak when the blind posted....I think...whoosh.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Fwiw..protocol applies to celebrity on a magnitude level of a clooney/ Pitt /Madonna //cruise/jagger etc level..if you require a bodyguard or 3 , you probably have a proticoal set for fan pix....it's just the way it is..especially for new London royalty like clooney(who will run for president...mark my words)

  38. When I was in High School, I was in JROTC (It's the same as the college one, just in High School, hence the J for Junior). Anyway, my friend and I were on a field trip to see former President Bush (Sr.) talk. The speech was on the day we had to do uniform inspection, so we got there early to get out inspection out of the way and then went to the college a state over to see the speech. Since we had to get our JROTC stuff out of the way we were allowed to drive ourselves and after the speech go out for lunch or go home. Well, we went to lunch and lo and behold there was President Bush. We were still in our uniforms and I had got to go up and meet him after the speech (each teacher was allowed to have one student go up and meet him and get our pictures with him and since I was the most politically active, I was chosen).

So anyway, as we're sitting there waiting for our order, President Bush approached the table and since we were in uniform we stood and saluted him. He saluted back and remembered me from the speech. He sat down with us and asked if it was ok for him to eat with us. Of course it was! So he had one of his Agents to have his meal delivered to our table and we ate and talked for about an hour and a half. When the bill came, he reached for it and said, "No, no, this is on me. I' just glad to see that there are youngsters out there that still care about this country and, Chris, you had the best question I've been asked since before I was President." (I had asked him something about the taxes and how a few minor changes could help everyone), we stood as he did, saluted him, gave the Secret Service agents our names and addresses and the school we went to about two weeks later we (me, my friend and our school) got letters thanking us for a refreshing meal with discussion that was well beyond our years.

    That was fucking awesome!
