ReplyDeleteTip. Ya know how store bought Potato Salad has a stigma, meaning it usually doesn't taste near as good as homemade??
We found some we love and I'm about to eat some from the frig.
WALMART - "Red Bliss". As far as I know it's never pre packaged. You have to get it from the deli counter. It's really good. (Not vinegary). A few weeks ago in Parker AZ we tried to get some and that Walmart told us they didn't have it anymore. I almost cried. (That's like telling Enty they don't have bacon).
Here in L.A. I got some yesterday. Whew. Anyhooo. If ya don't feel like making it, give it a try.
Off to get the container and a fork...

@SYF ..in my experience....nothing good comes from a plastic container, but I can tell you my man loves our local supermarkets potato salad(to be precise lol), and just jacks it up with is spice.( we eat spicy).

@Tricia. I hear ya. I'm not normally a prepared food gal either ("occasional" fast food, or fat food as I refer to it, yeah) but I loathe making potato salad. I have an excellent peeler but I still have to stand there and work it. And I always make a truck load bc it g

We have high counters and all but peeling potatoes breaks my back!! (And fucks up my manicure!)
Kroger's cole slaw is great, as long as it has a lot of the mayo based juice in it.
