Four For Friday- Stabbed In The Back

Tis Friday. I looked at some Shakespeare the other day and still can't really appreciate it by just reading it. The old English just makes for too much thinking and not enough enjoying. Now, if I see it on stage, then it comes to life. I just realized that it is about a month before the anniversary of the site and the annual MV clue. I am excited about the fall even though it will probably top 100 here again today. If you are around this weekend and hiding from Ebloa, why not stop by because I will be blogging all weekend. If you would like to follow me on Twitter, I am @entylawyer

#1 - Behind the scenes the staff of this late night show are all looking for jobs because they know they will all lose them if their boss doesn't start improving.

#2 - This married B- list mostly television actress is hated on the set of her almost network television show. Quick to act like she is the star, even though she isn't, she also likes to name drop and is always telling her hair and makeup people about the party with so and so and the gifts from so and so and annoys the workers to no end. What really makes them talk smack about her though is that she refuses to even acknowledge one of the staff if she sees them outside of the set.

#3 - This B+ list celebrity is having trouble getting work other than as an accessory or selling stupid products because she talked smack about this A+ list mogul/reality star who she dated briefly. He is the king of the worlds she is in and no one wants to cross him.

#4 - This B- list mostly movie actress who uses more than two names has been documenting her experiences with this B+ list mostly movie actress and is going to write an unauthorized biography with lots of dirt the B+ lister shared in confidence beneath the sheets.

    2. Only are the biggest blind ever that would shake the music industry to the core! Just google MV and Enty and you will get caught up quick. Long story, suspects are Brit Brit or JLo.

    3. I always assumed it was one of the Simpsons. Probably Ashley bagged early.

    5. Had to Google this... Awesome blind.
I read a big clue when Enty manages to spell guy with a capital G - then manages to not just make it out as any guy - more googling and up comes Guy Oseary... Madonnas manager - only thing dodgy is the timeline, early 2000... But she did have somewhat a comeback at that time - who knows...

  3. Hough for #3 - so stupid, do NOT talk trash about Seacrest when he owns everything.

  4. 1 - Seth Meyers
    2 - ?
    3 - Hough/Seacrest
    4 - ERW/Ellen Page

  5. 1 is definitely Seth Myers. Dude's show is watching paint dry. Worse than watching Fallon mumble and giggle like a school girl. If Colbert brings 1/2 the funny from his Comedy Central show, he's gonna crush it when he takes over for Letterman.

  6. I'm.pretty sure*Hough/seacrest were a couple for a long time2/3 years..,not briefly..(She was his longest lasting beard:)

  7. Enty cant possibly have more clues to give about MV after all these years. ITS TIME TO REVEAL MV ENTY!!

  8. MV is a world renowned singer who is a sham. She can't really sing, but has had a person dubbing all her songs. She's only put out 5 albums, and will never be able to put out another album again. The person who is the real voice behind MV, passed away, so MV can never put out another album ever again.

  9. I found this about MV. Never thought it could be Mandy Moore.

  19. To appreciate Shakespeare, I suggest you buy the BBC Shakespeare Plays that were filmed in the 70s. The BBC filmed all 36 plays starring the best actors in Britain. They are spectacular and completely true to every word he wrote and every period.

I have no clue who any of these blinds are.

  20. Laurence Olivier doing Shakespeare is something you Americans never appreciated, while in Europe (even in the PIGS) his actings are revered.

Anyway, "Ebloa" is one of the MacBeth witches in English, some obscure character in Titus Andronicus or something?

  21. Re: MV: Last week or so I ran across a clip of JLo in the studio trying to sing the Streisand/Summer song. I laughed my ass off!!! It was just awful. I immediately thought of MV.

  22. Oh, and Shakespeare needs to be heard, not read.
If you're reading it, it helps to read it aloud.

    1. I respectfully disagree. One of the most enjoyable classes I took in college was a 300 level Shakespeare class. All reading. No films. Only a bit of reading out loud during class, but very limited. My professor was Harvard educated and absolutely loved his work. He was a tough professor. I still have The Riverside in my study.

  23. Didn't one of Jay-Z's exes talk smack about him? Maybe Blue Cantrell?

  24. @8..respectfully try and refrain from using such broad strokes to canvas "Americans"... Many of us are very well versed in Shakespeare and Olivier, and have even studied/performed the classics at the Royal National..(though I was unaware Olivier had "actings" was fairly certain that is maybe projects, the term?

furthermore...there is a myriad of us decidedly cognisant of world geography.....such as Romanian borders and where EpcotCenter in Paris is.

I would never dane to say all you(not sure where you are from)so..all you "knob jobs" use poor grammar...

  26. Seth Meyers needs to try to go a whole two weeks without any old SNL chums on. He is holding his already existing small fandom firm, but that's not a huge audience.
I expected him to be a bit edgier, but I suspect he is trying to play a long-game with the big chair in mind.

  28. Fake BI about Seth Meyers. Lorne
Michaels will insist that NBC give Seth a long chance at making Late Night work for himself. The key producers and writers are ex-SNL Lorne loyalists who would never bail on Seth.

You might not like Seth, but he's got at least a year to make a go of it.

Fake BI. Fake BI. Fake BI.

  29. Fallon is great, Meyers is still relatively new...what about Kimmel?

  30. Way late and irrelevant,

    1) Sounds like it could be Seth M. I don't know shit about late night ratings, esp since Leno left. I like Seth. He seems like a nice guy. I don't watch any late night with regularity. I'll DVR something if I like the guest or project they're hawking. From what little I've seen Seth's show does look like a bore. He was good on weekend update.

Not sure what Fallon gets for ratings, but probably respectable given the show and time slot. Agree with Count that Fallon is annoying. He's like a 19-year-old hipster boy band follower. And he seems to me, like Ellen, to be the type who'd be an asshole in real life while appearing to be Mr. Happy /nicest person ever on the show.

    2) No clue.

    3) I know Seacrest has a shitload of jobs and runs E! now, but is he really that fucking powerful? Vomit if so.

    4) Sounds like ERW. And she sounds awful if the different things about her on this blog are true.

  31. I don't know anything about the blind, but Shakespeare is not "old English." He is early modern English. Beouwolf (not the singer) is "old English" and Chauncer is middle English. Sorry, but it chaps my hide when I read or hear someone call Shakespeare "old English."

  32. Damn straight, DJ/Rapper. I also can't stand how they are trying to force feed Fallon as some sort of King of New York. There he is right behind home plate for Jeter's last game. Billy Joel's birthday concert at MSG and we get Fallon and his lame ass barbershop quartet as a surprise guest when fucking Sting is backstage. I'm no Sting fan, but at least he's a musician.

I really hope they find some Cub Scout skeletons in Fallon's crawlspace and he goes away.

  35. Enty, when you give the MV clue will you please dispel any belief that this is JLo or Brittney.

Neither of them are known for their vocals and I would like to know how the few people who actually would be shocked that they can't sing would shake the music industry to it's core?

  36. Immeadiately thought of Simon Cowell and Carmen Electra for 3. Could be cause X-Factor just finished on tv!
