Blind Item #1

The cast and crew are of this Disney mainstay all thrilled they are getting a new show and that the star of the original show won't be coming along. They hate her. Really hate her. One thing they might not know though is that the star's female lover is going to be a big player production wise in the spin-off so look for frequent guest spots.

I'm pretty sure a good part of the "Suite Life" was gay-cast. Meaghan Martin may have decided to (finally) claim to have a boyfriend, but those pics of her all over Lovato and Alyson Stoner during the "Camp Rock" filming (including the one where she's showing off her thumb ring) tell a different story. Debby being on the home team doesn't surprise me a bit.

However, I hope Enty isn't saying that Debby's lover in production is creator Pamela Eells O'Connell (who also was part of "The Suite Life"). I mean, she's 58 to Debby's 21, and presumably the relationship has been going on for a while. But I haven't seen any other producers announced for the spinoff, so… (But perhaps Enty has a source?)

The irony being that they've done a version for Indian TV ("Oye, Jassie!"), which is apparently a success. Here's a link to episode one, on YT:

Whoops, mixed up my recurring and guest characters. (I didn't watch.) Meaghan Martin was only in one episode, so Stoner (who's been outed) was much more significant for the gay-cast possibilities, since she was recurring. My bad.
