Blind Items Revealed #2 - Mr. X - Old Hollywood

December 30, 2014

Before she was famous, this future A++ list actress and Oscar winner/nominee was hoofing it up on Broadway in the chorus line of a second rate revue. She was also making ends meet by prostituting herself to shady men who lived near the apartment she was renting out. Her pimp was psychically and mentally abusive towards her and one night she had enough. She was determined to get rid of him for good, so she ran him over with her car… killing him. The landlady called the police and our future star spent the night in jail, but was eventually released after she told the cops that he was drunk and she had no other choice but to run him over (phew!) Fast forward a year and she has a new alias and she’s under contract to the studio she would call home for a few decades. Magically, her arrest record disappeared after some money exchanged hands.

I so love the "I had no choice - he was drunk" defense. I wonder how far I'd get with that in 2015.

Sounds like something "mommy dearest" would do! I bet she was drunk too tho.
That Mommy Dearest movie about her scared the crap out of me,when I was a kid!

  5. How do you differentiate between 'psychical' and 'mental' abuse? There are time when Mr X and Enty drives me to despair with their appalling grammar and nonsensical unconstructed sentences.

I think of that guy's many other victims and all I can think is damn I love this crazy bitch.

(To be clear, I'm not enjoying that someone got away with a crime, but I consider this situation far less concerning than Roman Polanski getting away with his)

I wish I read this anywhere but here so I'd know if it's really true.

  13. I watched Mommy Dearest the other night. Faye Dunaway was her droppelganger. I believe her birth name was Lucille.

Enty/Mr. X translator: Psychically = Physically, though I too find funny the idea of the guy staring at her trying to force his abuse into her head.

You think that getting away with deliberate murder is a lesser situation than a fugitive from a statutory rape charge?

As soon as I read the first sentence I knew this was about Crawford. It was a badly kept secret that she was a prostitute in her struggling days, and it's been documented in various bios that she started out and was discovered, as a dancer on Broadway.

I think you meant "appalling grammars" and "sentence unconstruction" there, NHR. lmao!

  21. This is what you would call horrible fan fiction.

  22. As someone who has read everything on Miss Crawford, I can assure you that you won't be able to. I've always been told this site just makes stories up...like an online National Enquirer.

You don't need to be "told" .. if you read the bottom of every page you will see: 'CRAZY DAYS AND NIGHTS IS A GOSSIP SITE. THE SITE PUBLISHES RUMORS, CONJECTURE, AND FICTION. IN ADDITION TO ACCURATELY REPORTED INFORMATION, CERTAIN SITUATIONS, CHARACTERS AND EVENTS PORTRAYED IN THE BLOG ARE EITHER PRODUCTS OF THE AUTHOR'S IMAGINATION OR ARE USED FICTITIOUSLY. INFORMATION ON THIS SITE MAY CONTAIN ERRORS OR INACCURACIES; THE BLOG'S PROPRIETOR DOES NOT MAKE WARRANTY AS TO THE CORRECTNESS OR RELIABILITY OF THE SITE'S CONTENT."

Bugs the f**k out of me when people flip out about the "truthiness" of the site. Dumb asses.
