Blind Item #6
This aging permanent A+ list mostly movie actor has been looking very frail the past few weeks. It could be the stress of everything that is going on in his life, but others say he is suffering from some medical treatments for an illness that has worn him down to the point he may have to retire from acting.
Al Pacino
ReplyDeleteJack Nicholson
ReplyDeleteWould 've said Beatty with the drug addicted child but he retired from acting already...
ReplyDeleteI thought Michael Douglas looked really old at "Antman" interview...just sayin'
ReplyDeleteSame. He's been looking frail for a couple of years now.
ReplyDeleteMichael Douglas
ReplyDeleteThan he's definitely not our guy for BI #1 lol
ReplyDeleteEveryone thinks to forget Michael Douglas is old.He is 70 years old
ReplyDeleteBeatty and Benning have a kid with drug problem?? I know for Tom Hanks's kid
ReplyDeleteIn latest photos, clooney looks gawd awful
ReplyDeleteI can't believe no one said Clooney who is 50 but looks 70...
ReplyDeleteisnt kirk douglas still kicking too? DAMN!
ReplyDeleteI think the Clooney.. is super worried about being caught and publicaly humiliated in a major shameful scandal...
ReplyDeleteClooney doesn't look frail but his skin always looks grayish, unless it's makeup.
ReplyDeleteThe last photo I saw of Michael Douglas, he looked pretty good. I don't know if there's anything going on in his life besides the usual cheating and so forth. It could be that his illness cropped up again, nightmare. Add to that, child in prison.
The frailest perm A+ mostly movie actor I thought of first is Clint Eastwood. He is known as director lately but maybe not perm A+ director, or maybe curve thrown at us encore une fois.

ReplyDeleteMuch to the disgust of RDJ. I bet we're not getting an Iron Man/Ant-Man crossover including Michael anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteThere was a recent article in one of the tabs, maybe last week or this week, specifically talking about a frail looking actor dealing with various stressful situations in his life, the speculation was that he is in failing health himself. The article is about Michael Douglas, as I am sure this BI is too.
ReplyDeleteEven if you exclude his absolutely stellar career as an A+ actor (Any number of top notch Westerns, "Dirty Harry", etc), Eastwood is most certainly an A+ director. He has two Academy awards for "Best Director", two more for "Best Picture" and multiple nominations.
ReplyDeleteIf Eastwood is looking a bit frail, that's hardly surprising; he's every bit of 84 years old now. Even his oldest daughter is over 50! Still, the blind doesn't "fit" here. Eastwood publically announced his retirement from acting (not directing) seven years ago with his "Gran Torino". He'd have to reason to be afraid he "might" have to retire from acting since he's already done so!
Michael Douglas, is 70 this year, and has a history of stage four oral cancer. He's got a "Best Actor" Oscar, and multiple Golden Globes, so he's definitely A-list, and could qualify. He certainly could be undergoing treatments and worried about not acting any more. Still, the guy has been doing recent promo work for his new film "Beyond the Reach" and looks at least OK to me. EG see here from just last week: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydmUaGj1hbU#t=11t
What kind of scandal do you think applies here?
ReplyDeleteClooney has publically admitted to alcohol and drug abuse. . .which at least by Hollywood standards isn't particularly scandalous. He's already got a reputation of being promiscuous and the perpetual bachelor. . .if his marriage (now his second, I think) falls apart, he'll be right back where he was beforehand.
There are persistent rumors that Clooney is gay, and that his recent marriage is a sham. Clooney hasn't denied that he's gay, claiming he doesn't care if people think he is, and that denying it would be offensive to his gay friends. IMO, this reason is ridiculous. . . I really don't think his gay friends mind when people (gay or otherwise) are honest about their sexual preferences! So this makes me think he probably is. . .(NTTAWWT).
But again, so what? Clooney said he's never running for public office, and being gay is hardly (by itself) scandalous in this day and age. There are a lot of working openly gay actors in Hollywood now. Yes, coming out now might hurt his career, but Clooney isn't hurting for cash and could probably still find work.
@zilla1 you're right, ran in the National Enquirer last week.
