Blind Item #1
There is one thing this B list mostly television actress from a hit pay cable show knows and that is she likes to be the biggest star on the show. Because she has the power to do something about it, the biggest star on the show is being given the boot and replaced by a no name actor. It is not the first time she has done this.

ReplyDeletePatinkin may be an asshat, but he's a brilliant actor, which is more than I can say for 95% of the "movie stars" discussed in these blinds.
ReplyDeleteLena dunham-girls. Claire Danes doesnt strike me as so ego driven. Lena definitely does and i think she is producer so has the power.

Im going with claire danes. lena IS the star of the show on GIRLS so unless she's planning on firing herself and replacing herself with a no name actor, Im going with Homeland. Also says 'ti's not the first time she's done this' which makes me think it isnt dunham.whoever the person is, they've gotten someone major fired before.

ReplyDeleteI agree Claire Danes is an A. I thought Dunham was maybe jealous someone else on the show was getting more attention than she liked. I don't watch Girls but I thought one of the popular guys got the boot a few seasons back. Then again, boot could be a reference to Band of Brothers (Lewis). I am still leaning toward Dunham.

What about Ellen Pompeo?
ReplyDeleteThe only thing she has ever done of any note is Grey's, so she is not the bigger star on her show but she may think she is the "star" of the show. It's a stretch cause everyone is blaming Dempsy and the showrunner falling out. But I wonder is Pompeo helped, she certainly help shove him a but deeper under the bus with her comments.
Disregard! Forgot about pay cable. I don't know who this is, but I smell bullshit if it's supposed to be Danes.
ReplyDeleteI don't think this is Danes and Patinkin. He has a rep for getting bored and quitting. If he is leaving it because he wants to. Whether she is A list or not--he has far more power no matter who Danes is sleeping with.
