ReplyDeleteUnspoken I could not agree more. I have never been much of Madonna fan with her limited vocal skills and arrogant attitude.
ReplyDeleteshe had (emphasis on had) some great songs, but she's still trying desperately to recapture her 80's persona. Her new music is basically a flop and she can't handle that. She needs to stop acting like she's 25 because it's not working.

I can't stand Gaga either...she thinks way too much of herself too. The only thing I really liked from Madge was her work in Evita....But she needs to understand she is 50 something and 20 something anymore. She tries too hard to be relevant anymore and comes off as desperate rather than ballsy like she did when she was young.

And how is that shit not inspiring to all women btw?? She can probably keep up with all those other dumb, tweener pop stars on stage.
I don't care for her mindless garbage music either but you gotta admit that she still kicks a lot of ass.
If Gaga was smarter than she is she would have sat there and texted during Madonna's performance instead. It would have been a satiric performance piece.

ReplyDeleteIt's not inspiring, Ben, it's pathetic. She's not ballsy anymore, she's boring and sad. She can't deal with her own aging process and ends up looking like a fool because of it. Her children must cringe every moment of every day.
ReplyDeleteFace it, she's no better than the young, dumb, untalented pop stars out there, she's just older. That's why her new concert tickets aren't selling and she had to "push back" (read: cancel) five dates already with more to come.
Does Madonna still think she's shocking 'the establishment'? No grams. No. - I liked you when you owned it but that was yesterday.

ReplyDeleteHaving said that, Madonna acts like a narcissistic desperate person most of the time. People only seem to tolerate this if you're under 26 and haven't seen the big picture.
No, she's not fuckable. Perhaps she was if she didn't fuck with her face so much and didn't wear those gloves all the time that make her look beyond pathetic and insecure.
ReplyDeleteShe doesn't even look human went she's not all made-up. Nothing about her is interesting or groundbreaking whatsoever and her music is simply terrible. Not shocking she can't even sell her tour anymore.
And this is coming from a former fan; she meant a lot to me as a girl/teenager growing up in the 90s.
