Blind Items Revealed #3

May 15, 2015

Cannes

This former A+ list mostly movie actress who is an Academy Award winner got into an argument with a journalist when he asked her about some of her very public political views. Apparently he had been baiting her while she was stopped and posing on the red carpet. When she finished she walked over to him and called him a f**king a-hole, but in French which was kind of cool.

Natalie Portman

This was the "my toddler's so culturally superior to Americans" blurb, right?

yes @ kno--I believe that article was the controversy

no the journalist would have asked her about her view on Israel and Palestine. Like I stated in the original guess.

Blind says Her Political views- Natalie's very outspoken re: Israel/Palestine Controversy

@Tricia - that cracked me up. First she names the poor little dude Aleph than she publicly states that his inclinations are vastly superior to those of American children at the age of four. (so, pre-schooler, not toddler). Maybe friends are too middle-class for Aleph - he's not going to have many.

Oh, sorry - Derek. You are correct. I don't know what anyone expected, since Natalie's Israeli-born.

--no worries @Kno---and I agree her statements in that article about France being superior were a bit extra! I really like her and think she is intelligent but saying those things in an American publication is asking for ridicule. But I definitely think it was something more deeply political for her to lose her cool---she is usually a pro.

I didn't guess the first time around, but I would have gone Fonda

@FrenchGirl---I think the interview happened before she hit the red carpet and then he was shouting things at her while she was getting her pic taken on the red carpet, maybe?

He probably has a crush on her like the majority of men (including me and I am gay!) and went about it the wrong way to get her attention.

It doesn't say she was being interviewed..it says a journalist was "baiting her" while she was stopped and posing... that's taunting her from afar..that's not interviewing her.

  17. There is nothing cool about saying that in French nor about Natalie Portman. She's a pretentious twat

That's funny. When I want to get away with feeling like a superior tyrant around anglos I do it in french and it always works.
