Mr. X Blind Item #4

Well, it looks like its decision time for the producers of Fashion Police regarding the main vacant seat, producers are looking at either this B-list businesswoman/sometime actress with a famous last name who has a good sense of self-humor and knows a thing or two about fashion or that reality star/talk show host who's married to an iconic rocker. If the producers pick the latter, that means her spawn will agree come back to the show because she has nothing better to do (I hope they don't)

    Let. It. Die.

Joan Rivers was one of the greatest comedy minds in history, and she could just barely make insulting people's clothing marginally entertaining with people on-set to laugh at her jokes. Nobody else stands a snowball's chance in hell.

Sharon Osbourne is everywhere--and to be honest I prefer her in very small doses. I prefer not to see or hear her twit of a daughter ever--but people insist on giving her jobs and attention.

  7. @jonathanandrewsheen - THIS! I saw it a couple times and joan rivers....I mean, it was like a holiday party where drunk grandma is telling jokes and all the relatives are encouraging and laughing even though none of them were funny. I feel like joan was so much better than that show. its awful.

Sharon Osbourne for the latter (ugh) and I guess Nicole Richie for the former. Is she really an "actress" though? I don't consider Ivanka Trump or Kimora Lee to be actors either.

One of the Hilton sisters maybe? Paris is the sometime actress, but only Nicky knows a thing or two about fashion (she is/was a designer). Am I the only one here who would still watch Fashion Police?

If it's Sharon Osbourne, then it's ONLY because she's playing up she's partially Jewish. And that Melissa wants another Jewish woman at the head of the show. I could not watch that show with Joan Rivers, she was often so vulgar. I greatly prefer "Fashion Queens" with Bev, Miss Laurence and Derek.

I remember her in the 1960s and 70s and 80s, and she was so smart and vicious and afraid of nothing -- just a brilliant, scathing social and political satirist. She'd go after anyone, including the President of the United States, to skewer hypocrisy and injustice. She. Was Hilarious.

Long before "Fashion Police" was created, her career had already been reduced to cruel, cliquish appearance-shaming, and even then, when people asked me my thoughts on Joan Rivers, my response would be "I miss her."

The Joan Rivers who tore apart Reagan's Secretary of the Interior, James Watt, over his description of a committee as having "A black, a woman, two Jews and a cripple" while she was hosting the 1983 Emmy awards was a great asset to comedy. The one who said, "Oh, my God, where does a slut like her get off wearing white? She's had more dark meat in her than a bucket from KFC," (Not sure that was one of her lines, but it's the style and substance I'm talking about,) not so much.

OMG! I don't think that "We need a man to critique...." because it sounds so misogynistic, BUT we need Tim Gunn to add the true expertise! Tim never held back on PRW and would admit when he was wron... err, mistaken!
How do you start a chant on a blog! Tim Gunn - Tim Gunn - Tim Gunn
