That whole cheating on her fiance really has not worked out well for this B list mostly movie actress from an acting family. She played her cards wrong and is definitely losing the PR war because of it.
This sounds like it's about Lizzie Olsen and Tom but that would go against Enty's last blind about them which didn't ring true anyway. There PR has been mostly good apart from the Hiddlestone diehards who are just jealous and would be of anyone he chose to date. I think they have been dating much longer than we think.

Because they're both trying to sell that this - July - is the start of the relationship getting serious, when it seems likely that it started during filming and was the cause of her broken engagement.

It's EO and TH. They tried to start a PR spin on it back during filming, no one bought it. Some rumors floating around say she broke off her engagement not because she's in truluv5evah with Hiddleston but because it'd be a great PR move to be in a relationship with her co-star in an Oscar bait movie (Esp since costar is being tipped for a nom and is looking like all three films he's in are going to be awards bait).
Sounds like EO to me. She most likely did the Hiddles behind her fiance's back, now trying to sell a casual fun relationship with TH as 'new' because they waited a few months before "going public"? I don't think so. Nice performance in those very obviously planned pap photos from thursday night, but people ain't buying it, love. It's all cute and sweet till they connect the dots...
I adore TH from afar myself, but he is the most narcissistic creature I've ever observed so I'm more curious about the status of the relationship - he gives off a vibe that he'd do anything that moves if he's in the mood . . . I don't think he's capable of a "real" relationship.
Yes, that's the bit I think Enty got wrong. So far as I can tell, the PR is going just fine - unless, of course, she expected more of a bang from going public the other night in London . . . perhaps the yawns are already setting in . . .
I think they are worried about the cheating tag - even if some don't consider it cheating if it's an engagement rather than a marriage. It could be that both know this relationship probably isn't going to go the Brad/Angelina way, a long lasting relationship/marriage, as both as concerned with careers at the moment - and they don't want to be attached to a cheating story about a relationship that might not even last.

ReplyDeleteWell part of the point of Enty's last blind was that the relationship has its base in PR not so much about when it started - it's the part about all the men TH has been with that people want to reject. There is an item up on blindgossip too that is clearly about TH/EO and that also says she got involved with TH while engaged. I don't personally think that's such a big deal, especially in this industry where people can't control themselves for ten seconds. But being a fiancée isn't like being a feudal slave: you're free to leave if you meet someone you like better.
