Today's Blind Items - She Fought Back

From the time she was about 12, this former A- list dual threat actress was being molested on a regular basis not only by the producer of her show, but also by two of the writers. She lost her virginity to one of the co-stars of her show while the producer watched. She was alone. She was on the set all the time. She was a vibrant, funny, outgoing person before this happened. Despite her young age, this was not her first acting gig. She had several shows under her belt. She felt pressured by the producer to go along with what he said and he gave her a huge reward. Her own show. This all sounds like a pattern that has been repeated over the years. She was thrilled. She thought all the forced sex and groping would stop. She was wrong. Despite her growing fame, she was always threatened with the show being taken from her and given to someone else if she did not cooperate. After a failed attempt at suicide, she confessed to some close to her what had been happening. They told her to stand strong and she did. A week later when she said no to the producer, she thought everything was going to be great. Three days later, the show was canceled.

  5. Victoria Justice? I believe she is considered a dual threat being an actress/singer. There has ALWAYS been tons of slimy rumors about Dan Schneider forcing himself on young actresses. If this is true, I hope who ever the actress is comes forward in the future and oust all who were involved and press charges against them. Hollywood can be so disgusting and so unbelievably tragic!

  6. While she did some movies and shows before, she was if I recall correctly 15 years old went she did iCarly.

@LaLa-yes she is similar to Cosgrove. They both sing/act had shows/I thought(sadly) Cosgrove because she started so young (School of Rock/film) then was on a couple small shows-then Jake &Josh for 3 years-then ICarly. Os course Schneider is the writer /producer and co star Nathan Kress? maybe. Its vile, whoever it is.How this guy is walking a free man is beyond me.

  15. Victoria Justice or Debby Ryan?

  16. Did not she got pregnant during that show? She also was a recurring guest in the later episodes if I remember correctly.

  17. However, a lot do fits. Bill Cosby was the creator of both shows.

  18. It's much better to be a never-was than get started in a situation like this.

The age actually probably fits tempest best,. I am determined to make this Cosby in any event, lol

For holy hell Enty, out the damn molesters already!!!! They will never sue you, because if they do, then they are admitting guilt, and would loose any suit against you!

  21. If I correctly recall Debby Ryan was not 12 when she started on The Suite Life on Deck and she was at the age of 13 when she started on Barney and Friends. (no shows before that)

Victoria Justice. She started acting at 10, landed a role on the Dan Schneider-produced Zoey 101 when she was 12, eventually got her own show. Definitely a dual-threat - Victorious featured her doing a lot of musical numbers. Victorious was cancelled after 60 episodes and wasn't given a farewell episode; I recall that fans were perplexed at the lack of a wrap-up. They stopped short of the usual minimum syndication number (88 or 100, depending on who you ask), only having filmed three seasons (Nick split the last season in two to make a "four season" show after cancelling it). And, if the guesses on a different blind are accurate, she angrily told Kiernan Shipka that she would have to "get on her knees" to get work now that Mad Men has ended, "just like the rest of us."

  24. Erin Moran said she was raped on the show, and everyone said she was crazy. She is in sad shape.

  26. Failed suicide as in 1) they just saved her and she got herself in hospital in secret or known 2) They were just in time to stop her.

  27. I am not sure if iCarly was all of the sudden cancelled.

  31. No speculation here but can't Anonymous or some hackers go after Dan Schneider and other producers/writers/etc on Nick? You know these pedos have incriminating shit on their computers.

I have read several blind items about a producer molesting underage actresses and a few reveal that it is Dan Schneider. It seems like it's common knowledge in the industry what this man does yet he has never been charged. What gives?

    Teen: Miranda Cosgrove
    Co-star: Drake Bell
    Shows: Drake & Josh, Icarly
    Producer: Dan Schneider
icarly was the most depraved teen show ever behind the scenes probably.

A girl/woman has to come forward, within the statute of limitations. She must have proof/ a witness/witnesses. She must be ready to never work again. She must be able to withstand losing everything, in an industry she has worked her whole life in. She will now be known for getting work by trading sex, not talent. .
The specific case quickly becomes not about pulling back the curtain on a rampant industry practice, as much as an individual actress forever tainted by 'one bad apple.'

    ReplyDelete
  36. Sounds like it could be Miranda Cosgrove. I really don't understand why Schneider is not in jail.

Because Hollywood keeps its secrets. Everyone wants to be famous - everyone wants a hit of that high of public adulation. And so, so many people in Hollywood are bent in some way - kiddy-diddling is the worst of it, but lots of drugs, infidelity, play-for-pay, etc, as well. If someone outs a pedophile pig like Schneider, they may be doing the right thing, but everyone else with secrets to keep (read: EVERYONE) will get antsy, and the big-mouth will never work again. H'wood keeps its secrets. A few leak out around the edges, but the stuff we suspect and gossip about is surely only the tip of the iceberg.

Unfortunately, women are more vulnerable than they can imagine when wanting a career in the entertainment business…. until bad experiences start to happen. For minors with no strong parent and a NEED for validation, it's a tumble into hell.
