Blind Item #4

This a- list mostly movie actress/part-time behind the camera person was at an event earlier this week and acting strange. Talking to herself and glassy eyed. She has never had a drug rumor about her, but the married actress is going through some personal issues at home so maybe it is related to that.

  4. Elizabeth Banks. She posted some odd tweets & pics lately. Maybe the success of Pitch Perfect 2 & the stress of expectations that the 3rd will be more successful got to her?

Banks has had drug rumors for years---not saying that she is not the correct answer but she really has.

Enty's "clues" aren't always consistent/reliable. Foreign born or not, the letter grading, meaning of significant other...

Maybe she's not talking to herself. Maybe she just has one of those blue-tooth phone receiver things. I love those things because I'm all the time walking around talking to myself and now it is socially acceptable. I don't do it because of drugs, though. I would probably do it less under the influence of most drugs. I'm not sure what the problem with this is...

I liked her in "The Next Three Days"--she's been in a sh*tload of movies i realized when we were flipping thru movies awhile back-she popped up everywhere.I just thought she was Sienna Miller half the time or another Blonde actress I can't think of the name of.

  13. There are some things I've liked her in, but her personality can be all over the place. I could watch 1 interview & think she's funny, then the next she comes across like an annoying asshole.

  14. She did a movie with Seth Rogan, so she's at least smoked a shit load of pot. She comes across as a bit manic at times, but that could be cocaine or something else.

@Huh? Yes- that is it, along those lines. There is also an air of forced so etching about her- it's doesn't for or seem organic at all.Her charm, I guess is stilted(opposite of a sandy bullock, or Jen A.imo.@BA- gotta say I agree she has a ton of films on her ressie, tbh I thought she held her own in"Walk of Shame"which she had to carry(yes- I watched it one rainy night:)

  17. She's definitely forcing her personality a ton. It sucks for actresses that genuinely have a personality that people like, but because of actresses like Banks that force their personality it makes people suspicious of every actress! Now the actresses that are really fun, have that cool/chill chick vibe are assumed to be faking it when they're not.

Even I assume now that everyone is faking it. Like J-Law. She might actually be an awkward, immature, fun, brassy broad but because of the actresses that fake it now I'm not even sure if J-Law is really like that or if it's an act.

I don’t really cared about her in the past but I do now as her success is important in the hard work of putting women being the camera for the future of the industry. I didn’t liked pitch perfect but it is important that a woman director achieved commercial success and provide she can play that particular game: the BO oriented films. So it saddens me that she’s losing her shit and although I don’t know nothing about her life I hope he get her shit together and keep on the good work.

  21. I don't disagree with that at all. Pitch Perfect 2 was written, directed, & produced by women & that's a huge deal. It's sad that it's so rare for women to have this success in Hollywood today. But, just because Elizabeth Banks was the 1 to break some records, doesn't mean she has to be the 1 to continue pushing for women behind the camera. There are other women that can do it if Banks can't get her head on straight.

  22. I ask myself this too. There is something about her that comes off as smug.

I meant the long-standing drug rumors about Banks thing is true - I have no idea whether she's the one in the blind. Probably. People get weird at that Venice festival, must be something in the canals.

Elizabeth Banks for the win. I can't stand her for the same reasons listed above - she comes across as so freaking smug!
