This A list designer from a brand everyone wears couldn't get any top celebrities to appear at her show. She also got ticked off at reporters asking her questions about everything other than her designs and walked off and threw a water bottle when out of sight, but not out of hearing of the reporters.

ReplyDeleteNo, not everyone wears J Crew. Vanilla enough to seem universal. I prefer Theory, Hugo Boss and the like.

ReplyDeleteHad to google her. She left her husband for a lesbian jewelry designer, who she then started doing interviews and photo shots with. WTF did she think would happen?!
ReplyDelete15 years ago J Crew was the major brand. They are basic and ridiculously over priced now.

ReplyDeleteExactly the right word - basic. Everyone does need some good basics but it's hardly the epitome of design.
